Warning🚨 The Longest Lines in Disney World Are NOT For Rides Today

It’s a big day at Disney World! The resort is celebrating its 50th Anniversary, and we’ve already seen a LOT of guests joining in on the party!

And although you might think the longest lines today would be for rides, you might be wrong. Because today, the longest lines are for shops and outdoor kiosks!

Yes, some of the longest lines we’ve seen today are guests wanting to get their hands on the new 50th anniversary merchandise available in shops across Disney World. This includes EPCOT’s new Creations Shop, which had a line that extended outside and well beyond the shop!

The line was sectioned off to keep foot traffic flowing in the park.

But it wasn’t just 50th Anniversary gear guests were after. Today also marks the grand opening of Remy’s Ratatouille Adventure in the France Pavilion, and a ton of new merchandise just landed at World Showplace. And there was an extended line for that, too.

Over at the Emporium at Magic Kingdom, a virtual queue system was set up to deal with the high demand of guests wanting to score 50th anniversary gear.

Lines were also long for guests wanting to get the new 50th Anniversary Popcorn Bucket. We waited in line for about an hour near Dumbo in Fantasyland to get our hands on one.
