So many shows are arriving in Disney World soon for the big 50th anniversary with new fireworks and Main Street, U.S.A. projections, Harmonious, KiteTails, and others!

But, there are still a few forms of entertainment missing around the parks currently that we dearly miss. Since the parks have reopened, Fantasmic! has been on the quieter side with the theater remaining closed to guests.

Part of the reason that Fantasmic! hasn’t been open is that Disney filed some permits for work on the stage area and surrounding buildings. And, thanks to @bioreconstruct, we’ve got an aerial view of the work happening at the moment!

The moat was drained for a long time, but there appears to be some water! Construction work takes place on the set pieces, stages, and boats used during the show. Disney has been quiet about this project and when Fantasmic! could return.
