We’re less than four months away from the Walt Disney World 50th Anniversary celebrations!

So far, we know that Disney will be transforming the park icons, giving Mickey and Minnie new costumes, and re-imagining an iconic treat shop. And, now we have more details about what guests will be able to experience in Magic Kingdom over the 18th-months that Disney is celebrating!
Disney has announced that NEW projections will be coming to Main Street, U.S.A. beginning October 1st! These projections will be a part of the new fireworks show coming to Magic Kingdom, “Disney Enchantment.”

According to Disney, this fireworks show will feature “music, enhanced lighting, stunning fireworks and, for the first time, immersive projection effects that extend from Cinderella Castle down Main Street, U.S.A.” That’s going to be one big show!

We can’t wait to walk down the street and check out the new projections! We’ll continue to keep an eye out for more updates on the 50th Anniversary celebrations, so stay tuned to AllEars for the latest!

My husband and I are celebrating our 50th wedding anniversary on 1 July 2022 at WDW where we spent our honeymoon. We stayed at the Polynesian Resort for $22.88/night – and, in 1972, that felt extravagant. Can’t wait to visit the Resort again even though we can’t afford to stay there now! Although we’ve been to WDW many times in the past 50 years, next year’s trip will be special to us, to be able to share this 50th anniversary with Disney.
I am literally jumping for joy!!!!!!!😎😎😎😎😎😎😎😎😎😎😎
