We’ve only a few months away from the Walt Disney World 50th Anniversary!

Disney has a lot planned for the celebrations including the debut of TWO new fireworks shows, new costumes for Mickey and friends, and a brand new attraction at EPCOT. And, that’s not all — there’s also something new coming to Disney’s Animal Kingdom!
Beginning October 1st, a new daytime show will premiere at Disney’s Animal Kingdom called Disney KiteTails.

The show will take place at the Discovery River Amphitheater throughout the day. And, it will feature performers flying windcatchers and kites in the theater to Disney music, while three-dimensional kites (some that are 30 feet long) soar over the water depicting Disney characters like Simba, Zazu, Baloo, and King Louie.
The 50th Anniversary celebrations are set to last at Disney World for 18 months, so there will be plenty of time to enjoy the new daytime show in the park. And, at night, guests can watch as the park’s icon — the Tree of Life — comes to life with new special lighting effects.

We will continue to keep an eye out for more updates, so stay tuned to AllEars for the latest!
