Disney World’s 50th Anniversary is fast approaching, and we can’t wait to celebrate from the parks!
So far, we’ve received a few details on what the 18-month-long celebration is going to be like, with photos shared of new anniversary outfits for Mickey and Minnie. The park icons will also be getting makeovers for the occasion (and some are already in progress!) but we’re even more excited about a major celebration announced today!
Today, Disney shared that there will be a special 50th Anniversary fireworks show premiering at Magic Kingdom! The nighttime spectacular will be called Enchantment and will begin showing on October 1st.
The show will feature music, new lighting on the castle, fireworks, and, for the first time ever at Magic Kingdom, projection effects that will light up both Cinderella Castle and Main Street, U.S.A.
Take a look at the video below from Good Morning America where this new show was first announced!
We’ll make sure to keep you updated on any other 50th Anniversary celebration details that are released, so stay tuned to AllEars for the latest! We’ve got you covered with all the Disney World news!
