Disney World is preparing to reopen some of its hotels on June 22nd to guests!

The hotels will be looking a bit different than we’ve known them in the past with new cleaning protocols, reduced amenities, limited transportation, and changes in dining experiences.

While Disney has recently confirmed that Kidani Village would be opening at Disney’s Animal Kingdom Lodge, guests were able to still book stays at the Jambo House for the parks’ reopening dates.

However, Disney has released a statement that Jambo House will not be officially reopening with Kidani Village at first. If a guest currently has a reservation there, they can transfer their stay over to the Kidani Village instead.

As Disney starts its phased reopening, there will be some amenities within the resorts that are limited. Although we don’t know when it will be, Disney has said that the restaurants and stores will most likely remain closed in Jambo House when it it reopens until the rest of Disney’s Animal Kingdom Lodge has fully welcomed guests again.

The full list of resorts that will be reopening on June 22nd include:

• Bay Lake Tower at Disney’s Contemporary Resort
• Boulder Ridge Villas at Disney’s Wilderness Lodge
• Copper Creek Villas & Cabins at Disney’s Wilderness Lodge
• Disney’s Animal Kingdom Villas – Kidani Village
• Disney’s Beach Club Villas
• Disney’s BoardWalk Villas
• Disney’s Old Key West Resort
• Disney’s Polynesian Villas & Bungalows
• Disney’s Riviera Resort
• Disney’s Saratoga Springs Resort
• The Villas at Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort

Disney hasn’t released any other information about when the remainder of their resorts will be opening again in Disney World. But, we will continue to keep you updated with more news and details!
