When departing the Magic Kingdom following the fireworks display rather than stand in line forever to take the Monorail back to the parking lot, jump on it in the opposite direction toward the resorts and hotels. It will eventually take you all of the way around the lake and back to the parking lots/transportation center. On a crowded day you might save yourself up to 45 minutes. Tim King
My own tips for saving time and frustration (although I probably heard or read them somewhere), that I learned in our 5 or so trips are to eat lunch either really early or really late (so while everyone else is eating, we're riding and vice-versa) and that at MK most people either go left into Adventureland or right into Tomorrowland and work their way around. Thus everyone ends up in Fantasyland exactly at lunch time. What a nightmare. Except for a couple quick rides on BTMRR and Splash Mountain or Space Mountain we always start in Fantasyland and move out from there. Jeff Kane
