We had a wonderful eating here with Traveling Around Disney. Soul food by definition.... So comforting and yummy! The fried chicken is second to none. The service wasn't the best at Disney but was very good.
Pros:
The food overall is excellent. The fried chicken brought my wife to tears.Cons:
Loud music may distract some (noise) but a minor observation. The drinks are a little overhyped but good.Reviewed by Anonymous Review Date: 10/06/2023

I've been to Homecomin' twice now and was not impressed on either trip. Most of the food and drinks that I tried was just okay. Both times the service was not great.
Pros:
The chicken sandwiches are delicious. These are a must-order if you eat here.Cons:
The moonshine flight is a more expensive offering on their menu. A friend and I split it and only liked two out of the five drinks that it comes with. One is literally undrinkably bad.Reviewed by Anonymous Review Date: 05/28/2023

AMAZING! Definitely a go-to everytime. Make sure you start with the charcuterie board here because it is the best! There’s a selection of deli meats, chicken salad, pimento cheese, tomato bacon chutney, candied walnuts, and pickles. Every bite was delicious. As for entrees you can’t go wrong with the southern classics like fried chicken or pulled pork. Those options paired with the mashed potatoes or Mac n cheese is the epitome of comfort food. Our server was also very friendly and attentive and we even got to meet Chef Art himself!
Pros:
- Delicious comfort food - the charcuterie board - laid-back vibeCons:

Absolute favorite place a must on every trip. Ate there in October and again in February and the food is absolutely delicious. My daughter says it’s the best Mac and cheese she’s ver had. Biscuits are heavy but still very good. Chicken was very moist and flavorful and the mashed potatoes are the best mashed potatoes I have ever had and I love mashed potatoes and have never had mashed potatoes taste like those soo good. It is a must do now on every trip!!!

It’s fine but definitely over rated. I ordered the fried green tomatoes, thigh high biscuits and macaroni and cheese. None of it was outstanding, none of it was bad. I think it’s worth a try but not a must do experience. If u r hungry and can get a seat within 30 minutes it’s ok. The thigh high biscuits were very sweet. I tried my daughter’s chicken tenders and thought those were better.
Pros:
Decent food and a large servingCons:
Apps r expensive but the entrees were reasonableReviewed by Anonymous Review Date: 11/17/2022

Hi! We visited a couple weeks ago. This was my 4th visit here and unfortunately may be my last. It was an extremely rushed dinner and felt like our server was trying to upsell us on everything.
Pros:
The food was still really good.Cons:

1st time visit, I am from the south and can say was not impressed. We had the thigh high chicken biscuits, gator bites and hiummingbird cake. The biscuits were hard and dry. The crumbled and were hard to eat. The chicken was good and the gator bites were awesome, but the hummingbird cake was missing moisture. I didnt taste any pecans or pineapple and coconut that is traditionally in hummingbird cake but even with the nuts left out , it was still very dry. For what you pay for the food I was expecting much better. The manager did reduce our bill so I am thankful for that.
Pros:
Great gator bites and chickenCons:
horrible biscuits and hummingbird cake and no changing table in the restrooms.Reviewed by TeacherManJoe Review Date: 05/29/2022

Homecoming is a simple concept, with classic southern cuisine, in a bright and homey restaurant environment. We were able to get a brunch reservation and were thoroughly pleased with the experience overall
Food-wise, I have three words for you: CHICKEN AND DONUTS!! One of the specialty dishes at Homecoming is fried chicken over glazed donuts, and while some may wonder about the combination, I am here to tell you that it is phenomenal! Amazingly savory and well fried chicken and the donuts are sweet and soft, and so the combination is just perfection. The cheesy scalloped potatoes are great as well, as are other dishes we’ve tried here. The chicken and donuts just needs to be shouted about from the rooftops.
There are some really tasty cocktails here as well and the environment is just delightfully relaxing. All around, Homecoming is one of the stars of Disney Springs, which already has PLENTY of stars in the food department.
Pros:
Great food that is tasty and well executed Homey and comfortable atmosphereCons:

We loved our dinner meal at Homecoming'! We both had tT
he chicken was so moist and easy to chew and swallow. The potatoes were delicious; the Mac n cheese also quite tasty. The cheddar biscuits were fantastic! The bartender was also our waiter and so I asked him about the moonshine drink options. He fixed me a watermelon c cocktail that was so good! The place was very busy so reservations are a must, but well worth it! I can't wait to go back and try some of the other menu items.
Pros:
The decor is so comfortable and inviting. the wait staff are very friendly.Cons:

My wife and I went here on our first day of our vacation (March 23, 2022). Our server was extremely nice and chatty, but not overly chatty! The best of all the worlds in our opinion.
As far as food we got the hush puppies to share, my wife had the cat fish sandwich, and I had the fried chicken sandwich. The hush puppies were the best, they were dry and not too flavorsome on their own, but dipping them in the sauces they come with makes them at least a 9 out of 10!
My wife liked her sandwich, she said the bread was very good and the cat fish was well cooked. It was also huge, which made it a really good deal. As far as the fried chicken, it’s possible I made a mistake ordering the sandwich, I wish I had got the chicken dinner instead because bone-in always tastes better. The chicken on the sandwich was a bit of a let down, mildly crisp breading, but not as crisp as you would expect and it wasn’t really flavored at all. I didn’t realize it would come with a sweet pickle, which I didn’t care for I think it would have been better as a quick pickle, but I understand that this more sticking with the southern tradition.
Both these meals came with potato chips. We usually don’t care for potato chips as a side because they don’t seem as nice as a unique salad or fries, but we wanted to eat the meal as designed. We both surprisingly liked the flavor of the chips! They weren’t just salted, but had a nice flavoring. We each ate maybe 4-6 chips, which is way more than we expected!
