REMINDER: EPCOT Is Going To Be DIFFERENT Starting TODAY

The EPCOT International Flower and Garden Festival features countless Disney-crafted topiary displays and sweeping landscaping that transform the EPCOT landscape into a floral extravaganza.

But, if you didn’t already get the chance to check it out in 2024 — you might be out of luck! The Flower and Garden Festival is ending soon and EPCOT is about the change in a major way — here’s what you need to know.

In the past, the Flower & Garden Festival ran from early March all the way through July — but that is not the case for 2024! The Flower & Garden Festival ends on May 27th. That’s right — a whopping whole month less to experience this floral festival.

This means EPCOT won’t have a festival going on for over three months — until the Food & Wine Festival kicks off on August 29th. This is the longest break we’ve seen between festivals since 2019, so we’re expecting Disney to actually move the temporary booths backstage.

There also won’t be nighttime entertainment at the America Gardens Theatre, at least none that Disney has announced. You’ll likely still be able to see plenty of other entertainment around the World Showcase, though.

If you typically visit EPCOT to enjoy the festivals, keep in mind that between May 28th and August 29th, you won’t be able to do so since there won’t be a festival going on.

Luckily, there are plenty of places around EPCOT to grab a delicious bite to eat. At Connections Eatery, grab a slice of pizza or a burger. At Yorkshire County Fish Shop, grab some of the best fish and chips this side of the pond. Les Halles Boulangerie has plenty of eats that will satisfy plenty of appetites.

Plus, the final stage of the EPCOT transformation is officially opening next month! On June 10th, CommuniCore Hall and Plaza will open to guests, marking the end of this long construction project.

CommuniCore

We’ve noticed a “Festival Favorites” sign over at CommuniCore Hall — which was the name of a food booth at previous festivals that served up, you guessed it, past festival favorite foods. While Disney hasn’t made any official announcements quite yet, we’re hopeful this means we could see a year-round festival booth!
