Star Wars fans now have an oasis in Disneyland and Disney World — Galaxy’s Edge!

In the lands that opened in 2019, fans can live their dreams by building their own lightsabers, creating droids, drinking blue milk, and meeting iconic characters from the movies. Over at Disneyland, there’s an entire season dedicated to Star Wars this year called the Season of the Force and now because of that, something new is coming to the park!
Looking for specialty eats and an exclusive fireworks show? You’ll want to head to Disneyland’s Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge before June 2nd when the Season of the Force concludes. But before that, you can check out the Fire of the Rising Moons show!

You may be used to watching fireworks by Sleeping Beauty Castle, but with this show, you can watch them above the spires of Batuu while listening to Star Wars music. Now, Disney just announced that a special new droid will be making an appearance for the show!

Be on the lookout for this droid named Bard starting on Friday, May 24th. How is Bard related to the show? Allow us to explain.
Storyteller Tohan Lege, who introduces the show, found an abandoned R1 astromech droid left at the Depot. Eventually, the droid was fixed up and named Bard. Together, Lege and Bard recorded the Lore-weaver’s stories. Now, you’ll be able to meet this legendary droid!

You can view this special fireworks show from several areas in Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge, including the Black Spire Spaceport (near the Millennium Falcon), the TIE Echelon docking platform, and the speeder garage. Also, if you have a MagicBand+, it will interact with the show!

That’s not the only reason to visit Disneyland for this special event — Hyperspace Mountain is also back! This is a Star Wars-themed overlay of Space Mountain which is a fan-favorite for many. You’ll hear Star Wars tunes and see projections of famous ships — the vibe is totally different than the original attraction. It’s a must!

Don’t forget — there are also new scenes in the Star Tours attraction! As of April, you may encounter characters from hit TV shows Ahsoka, Andor, and The Mandalorian. The ride is also located in Tomorrowland so be sure to check it out on your next visit.

Remember, the Season of the Force ends on June 2nd, so head to Disneyland soon before it goes away! Check the Disneyland
