We stayed Nov. 20-25, 2020. This was our first time to stay at Pop. We were drawn to the resort since it's on the Skyliner route. We picked a preferred room knowing our feet would be tired at the end of they day. We were assigned to Building 10 in the 70's section and it was a great location. We didn't have Mousekeeping while we were there for 5 nights. It was fine for us. We used the mobile app to order food (only way to do it during COVID) and it worked out well. The rooms are nicely redone and there are lots of storage areas and plenty of plugs and ports for electronics. The murphy bed was fine for my 17-year-old son. There were plenty of pillows which we appreciated. The grounds were immaculate. We did not have to wait long for buses even at peak times.

Pros:

Clean, Skyliner route, quick transportation, son loved the pizza

Cons:

None to report

Pop is a great option for the value resort category. Pools are great, food court has some good options (and you can walk to AoA if you want some additional food choices). Room updates are not super themed but really really nice and the Murphy bed/table option gives you a lot more room if/when you don't need the sleep space. Single bus stop (which is a plus to me) and now the Skyliner make transportation here awesome. Price has started creeping up here a bit but it is still worth it IMO. The resort is quite large though so it could be a long walk to lobby or Skyliner depending on where you are. There is a lot of theming but to be honest I am in love with it. I dont hate it either, its just kind of there (but that is just me).

Pros:

Updated rooms Transportation Quick Service Options Pools

Cons:

Possible far walks No table service (which is the norm for value resorts, but still) Theming sort of boring

A great value to stay on Disney property! Possibly the best-kept resort secret!

Pros:

The rooms were clean and updated with a cheerful decor throughout the resort. It is very reasonably priced and feels like a real deal given the quality of the experience we received! Can't wait to try the skyliner!

Cons:

Long lines for the buses, which has hopefully been remedied with the arrival of the skyliner. It is not as luxurious as a deluxe resort (unsurprisingly). The food court has a decent amount of options and serves its purpose but could be improved.

Last visit was Dec 2019. We have stayed at this resort twice. This resort is a value if you want to stay on Disney property. The rooms are no frill, but who spends time in the room. This trip we were in the 50's building which was a bit of a walk to the food court. Food court options were great. Check in/out was a breeze.

Pros:

Lower price, on the Skyliner, comfortable beds

Cons:

Big resort, spread out with lots of walking

I was excited to stay at this resort, but in the end I was underwhelmed. It was ok. Basically it wasn't bad, but there was nothing that thrilled me or made me excited to be there. I didn't enjoy the themeing. Our builing was #2 in the 50's section. The room was fine. Not bad, just again, not exciting although the bed was really comfortable. We were kind of close to the skyliner, or at least the path to it was so it made it easy to find. The resort is spread out and we were quite a walk to the lobby which wasn't great. I guess I expected more of an experience and didn't really get it. The food was fine, not bad, not exciting or really different. You are able to walk over to art of animation to try landscape of flavors which we did, and that was convenient of you don't mind walking. Overall it was fine, but I wouldn't stay there again.

Pros:

skyliner access

Cons:

a lot of walking, didn't love the theming, just ok food.

Awesome budget Disney resort!! Pop Century is themed with different decades and appeals to people of all ages. There are giant replicas of Rubik's cubes, Pac-Man, Mr. and Mrs. Potato Head and more. The hotel is brightly colored and feels like you have stepped into a Disney cartoon when you enter. We stayed here for seven nights and it was very comfortable and convenient. All of the staff we encountered were friendly and helpful. We did a split stay to take advantage of a discount and they allowed us to stay in the same room. If you do online check-in they text you when your room is ready and you can use your magic band or phone to unlock your hotel room door. Be aware that if you do online check in and don't visit the front desk you might get charged with parking - just let them know so they can remove the charges (this happened to me). Also, don't forget to get a free button at the front desk for your first visit, Birthday, anniversary or other celebration.

We stayed on the third floor in the 70s section. All of the rooms open outwards like motel rooms, but we didn't notice a lot of noise and it was quiet in the evenings when we returned from the parks. It wasn't too far of a walk from the bus stop or food court either. The rooms were clean with soft, comfortable beds, modern fixtures, and lots of storage space. The TVs have most channels including the Disney parks channel so you can view the park hours and entertainment schedules. The room includes a refrigerator, coffee maker, and table with seating for two (unless you use the pull down bed) A standard room sleeps 4, however, I think the room is just perfect for 2 people, especially for an extended stay.

The resort offers pizza delivery, a swimming pool and arcade, a spa, and activities for families including nightly movies, games and arts and crafts. You can also walk to Art of Animation resort (across the lake) or use the running/walking trails for exercise. This resort has dedicated buses to the parks and Disney Springs (meaning you don't share buses with other resorts), and you can view wait times on the My Disney Experience app or on the TVs at the bus stop. In our experience the buses were very convenient and we never waited more than 20 minutes to ride a bus to or from the resort even though we were there for the busy New Year's Eve week.

The only reason I didn't give 5 stars is because we didn't receive housekeeping for two days out of the week, and we did not receive our paperwork for Magical Express for our return trip to the airport - we had to ask for it at the front desk (it's supposed to be delivered to your room the night before you check our). Overall we had an excellent stay and would definitely stay here again. I recommend this hotel if you are wanting to stay on Disney property but are also on a budget.

Pros:

Convenient location, nice rooms, good value for the price

Cons:

Very busy resort, buses can be packed, food court is just okay

Stayed there a month ago, I simply loved it!! The food court is really good, the new rooms are so comfortable, I love the skylines, the vibe is incredible, it has a great price when compared to its amenities and it will always have a place in my heart.

Pros:

Skyliner, new rooms, cool theme, pools are great for both kids and adults.

Cons:

Some sections are a little far away and the skyline line can get long(during covid times at least)

Over priced for the lack of service to rooms during our stay.

Pros:

The food good.

Cons:

I did not realize that I would need to empty my trash and request bath towels while on vacation. There was no room service. I expected more for Disney World.

We had a fantastic stay Feb15th-23rd. Cast members were beyond helpful and chefs were amazing with my son who has severe food allergies. The renovated rooms not only looked fabulous but were night and day for me who has asthma and the old carpeting killed me.

Pros:

SKYLINER!! I can't express how much being on the Skyliner route is a game changer especially if you are Hollywood Studios or Epcot fans (we are.) The tie dye cheesecake is an excuse on it's own to visit the resort as is the oversized decore.

Cons:

The walk to the busses from parks and Disney Springs seems like it's the farthest and rooms only hold up to 4 people.

We stayed at Pop Century at the end of February and loved it. We will stay there again for sure.

Pros:

It was quite, clean, the Skyliner was so convenient, easy to find your way around, of course the Mickey Waffles and tie die cheesecake and the staff was so nice and helpful.

Cons:

I can’t really think of a con.
