Disney World Files New Permits for Changes at EPCOT and Hollywood Studios

We’ve found some new Disney permits, which could mean some updates might be around the corner!

Could we be seeing new changes at the Land Pavilion and Galaxy’s Edge? Let’s dive in!

A new permit has surfaced referencing the Land Pavilion, and under the description of improvement, it states: Install Signage. This could mean that we are getting an updated Soarin’ sign!

With the opening of the all-new Soarin’ Around America on May 26th, this permit could mean that we will soon be able to see the new sign that will accompany the newest iteration of this fan favorite attraction.

Now, let’s jump over to Hollywood Studios for more permit updates!

There are three new permits all discussing the installation of set elements in  Galaxy’s Edge!

While it’s unclear what these permits are referring to, it’s safe to say that Galaxy’s Edge might be getting some updated sets or props in the near future!

Disney confirmed that Disney World is not getting the timeline changes coming to Disneyland on April 29th, 2026, so it’s unrelated to that. Read all about the addition of Luke Skywalker, Darth Vader, and other Star Wars updates at Disneyland Resort here!
