I’ve Been to 11 Disney Parks. Here Are 7 Things I’d Never Visit One Without

I have gotten the opportunity to visit A LOT of Disney parks — 11 to be exact. I am just missing a visit to Shanghai Disney to collect them all! While each park is unique, there are some things that I always make sure to bring with me.

And of course, I am sharing my must-haves with you so you can be prepared for your Disney trip, no matter which park you are headed to! There are seven items that I would feel lost without, and I always double-check my bag to make sure I have them.

Lip Balm

Chapstick is a must-have for me pretty much wherever I go, but definitely while visiting Disney parks. You never know when you might need a bit of moisture for your lips, so I always have at least one tube of lip balm with me at all times. However, having a backup or two is always a good idea, just in case.

My favorite lip balm is the Burt’s Bees Lip Balm sticks (which make great gifts for your friends and family, by the way!) They typically come in multipacks, multiple colors, and scents, and won’t leave your lips feeling super greasy after application.

Lotion

I also always have some lotion with me. Traveling really dries out my skin, and having dry skin in the parks is no fun. Luckily, it is easy to bring along a small bottle of lotion so you have it handy!

EOS Shea Butter Hand Cream is always in my park bag, and I bring it along with me to every Disney park. Say goodbye to dry skin as you conquer the parks!

Umbrella

Rain or shine, you never know when an umbrella might come in handy. While it is definitely helpful in the rain, you can also use an umbrella for extra shade. I always carry an umbrella to be prepared for a sudden downpour or to protect myself from the sun.

Mini Umbrella

One of my favorite umbrellas is the BAODINI Travel Essentials mini umbrella. It’s so light and packs up nicely for safekeeping when I don’t need it in the moment.

Miady Charger

You will likely be using your phone a lot while you are at the parks. From looking at the map to viewing wait times to snapping pictures, I go through my battery quickly. You will definitely want to pack a portable charger so you can stay connected all day.

I use the Miady charger, and I always have it with me at the Disney parks. While it isn’t the only portable charger out there, I have used it to visit 11 Disney parks and highly recommend it!

Good Wireless Headphones (I love my Pixel Buds Pro 2!)

If you are flying, I highly recommend bringing a good pair of wireless headphones. They can help cut out some of the noise, and you can listen to music, podcasts, or shows to help keep you entertained. Plus, they can also come in handy at your hotel or if you need to get a bit of a break from the noise inside the park.

My go-to wireless headphones are the Google Pixel Buds Pro 2. They have excellent noise cancellation, and the sound quality is fantastic. I definitely don’t leave home without these headphones!

Owala Water Bottle

Staying hydrated at the Disney parks is a must. Between the rides, the characters, the snacks, and the details, it can be super easy to forget to drink water. One of my biggest tips for staying hydrated is to bring your own water bottle. It is so much easier to grab a sip of water if you have some on your person than to stop somewhere to get some.

I love Owala water bottles!

My favorite water bottle is the Owala. The largest size is my preference (more room for water!), but choose the size that works best for you. They come in so many colors and keep water cold for hours. Plus, you can sip or swig depending on your mood.

Card Holder

I have found that many parks use paper tickets for things, and it can be super easy to lose them without a place to put them. Now, I always bring some sort of card holder with me to the parks. It makes it easier to stay organized, and I also know exactly where the paper ticket is located.

This particular cardholder is inexpensive and available in a variety of colors. No more stuffing paper tickets in places and never finding them again!
