It’s a momentous day in Disney World as the huge 50th anniversary celebrations have kicked off around the parks! And, it shouldn’t be TOO much of a surprise that we’re taking you with us!
EPCOT is an especially great place to celebrate with golden statues, the new Harmonious nighttime spectacular, fireworks dining experiences, Space 220’s debut, and more. But, we aren’t the only ones excited to party in the parks, because a LOT of people are making their way into Disney World today!
And, we’re giving you a full look at all the crowds we spotted in EPCOT during the start of the 50th anniversary! Once we entered the park for the day, we were given a map, featuring Spaceship Earth glowing as a Beacon of Magic.
The map detailed the 50th anniversary celebrations taking place within the park with new attractions, special merchandise, and fun treats for everyone to enjoy…
…along with a map showing the brand new locations opening today!
Of course, the crowds waiting outside the entrance prior to EPCOT’s opening for the day got bigger and bigger by the minute!
After everyone made their way to their destinations for the morning, we spotted quite a few guests ready to stock up on the themed 50th anniversary merchandise debuting in EPCOT today.
The line outside the Creations Shop already started to wrap around the construction walls next to the store, after EPCOT first welcomed guests for the day…
…as the line was sectioned off to help direct traffic.
Other parts of EPCOT were on the quieter side in the morning, though, with few people chilling in The Land…
…or at the new and returning Food & Wine Festival booths that have started to open today for the 50th anniversary!
