What if you could visit the Most Magical Place on Earth every day? That’s the dream, right?

Well, as a Disney Annual Passholder, that dream is pretty darn close to reality! Aside from some blockout dates depending on your level of Annual Pass, becoming an Annual Passholder gives you the chance to visit Disney World any time you like. In addition to that, Passholders also get a ton of perks and benefits at the parks!
Let’s look at seven reasons that you should just get an Annual Pass already!
You can (pretty much) visit Walt Disney World whenever you want!
If you buy an Annual Pass, there are very few limits on when you can visit the World. Depending on your level of pass, you might have some blackout dates, however that still means you can visit the parks the majority of days out of the year.

If you are planning on visiting the park multiple times in one year (say, ten or more days), getting an Annual Pass is sometimes a most cost-effective option. For more information on the cost of each Pass level, you can check out Disney’s official Annual Passholder page, and be sure to read our post on when an Annual Pass becomes more cost-effective.
You get to use the Passholder-exclusive entrance!
You know the feeling: you get up to the park entrance and internally groan when you see the impossibly long line to get in. So close to the magic… yet so far. As a Passholder, you might just get your own line to enter the parks!

While it can really depend on the day (and park), typically you will find a “Passholder Entrance” at each entrance, letting you breeze through an exclusive line that is often shorter than the general entrance.
Score yourself merchandise, hotel, and dining discounts!
This is a big one! As a Passholder, you get discounts on a lot, from merchandise to dining to Resort hotel rooms at Disney World!

While it can vary based on your Pass (especially for Florida residents), typically Passholders can receive 20% off on select merchandise and dining options throughout the parks. This amounts to a pretty hefty savings if you plan on visiting the parks often enough (and covet some pricey dining or souvenirs). Hotels are another place you can experience some cost-saving. Often times, Disney will run promotions for Passholder-Exclusive savings on hotel rooms, so you can save a fair bit of money there, too.
Participate in Passholder exclusive merchandise and events.
If you’re into exclusive merchandise, you might want to join the Passholder club! Disney typically offers Passholder-exclusive apparel and other merchandise in the parks, so you can wear your Passholder pride on your sleeve.

Additionally, there are often Passholder-exclusive events you can take advantage of at the parks. Take, for example, the Passholder Holiday Weekend at Disney Springs that was held in early December, which carved out a few hours in the morning for Passholders to experience the Christmas Tree Trail and to meet Santa Claus before the general public.
Get discounts on some specially-ticketed events.
Since you aren’t paying a daily ticket price, some Passholders don’t mind paying the extra money to attend a ticketed event such as Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party. Luckily, a lot of these hard-ticket events are actually offered at a discounted rate for Passholders!

While the rates and events can vary, Passholders can often pick up a ticket to an after-hours event at a discounted rate — an easy way to entice frequent visitors to come back again and again!
Free parking? Yes, please!
This is a big one. We know it’s not breaking news that parking at Disney World isn’t cheap, and that’s why the deal that Passholders get is especially great.

Platinum Plus, Platinum, Gold, and Silver Passholders may park at the theme parks during regular park hours free of charge! This ends up being a pretty big cost saving over time and makes it even easier to park hop.
Capture your memories with PhotoPass.
As a Platinum or Platinum Plus Passholder, you get access to unlimited downloads of your Disney’s PhotoPass pictures, which means any time PhotoPass photographers or on-ride cameras capture your time in the parks, you’ll be able to keep those memories!

While the service isn’t necessarily one that everyone would buy for their vacation, when you get the service as a part of your Passholder membership, you’ll be shocked at just how many pictures you find yourself taking on Disney days!
