There’s Only Disney Park in the World To See Mickey Mouse in This Costume, And You Need To Go NOW

We were in Disneyland Paris recently, but we have to admit, we’re already MAJORLY missing parts of the park.

Fry and Phantom Manor Mickey!

Not all of it —we will admit we’re really looking forward to Walt Disney Studios Park becoming Disney Adventure World, as we feel the park will really benefit from those additions —but one of the things we’re missing the most? This ONE meet and greet in particular, because Mickey is dressed in the CUTEST outfit!

Over in Disneyland Paris, you’ll find an attraction similar to Haunted Mansion, but it’s got a different storyline and is called Phantom Manor. Phantom Manor was once home to one of Thunder Mesa’s founding families, Henry Ravenswood.

Ravenswood adored his only daughter, Melanie, who attracted the attentions of four different men, but all of them came to a mysterious and untimely end. The rumor is that Ravenswood didn’t think any of them were good enough for his daughter and may have even had a hand in their disappearances. While Ravenswood and his wife have passed on, it’s rumored that the Phantom in the manor lured her soon-to-be husband to the attic, where he hung him on Melanie’s wedding day. Now, she wanders the halls of the manor, still one day hoping her love will return to her, while the Phantom lures around her no matter where she goes.

The remarkable Phantom Manor

It’s certainly a darker story than what we have in Disneyland and Disney World’s Haunted Mansion rides, but many people who visit Disneyland Paris and don’t speak French often don’t understand the whole story. It’s really fascinating to look into, so if you know you’re planning a visit soon, we suggest looking into it so you know what’s going on before you ride!

Phantom Manor

While we love the ride though, there’s actually a meet and greet close by in Frontierland that you CANNOT miss if you’re a fan of Phantom Manor and Mickey Mouse, because the Mysterious Meeting meet and greet is truly SO fun!

Hi, Mickey!

Mickey is dressed in his Phantom Manor outfit, complete with red/maroon pants, a teal-blue vest with gold and maroon details, and a maroon hat with the Manor on it!

Fry meeting Phantom Mickey!

This meet and greet was so fun, and since it’s the ONLY spot you can see Mickey in this outfit, we’d say it’s a total must-do for anyone who’s a fan of Phantom Manor, or is trying to meet Mickey in all his different outfits.

He’s so cute!
