THREE New Lines You'll Have to Wait in at EPCOT

It’s a BUSY day in EPCOT, y’all!

You may think it’s because of the holiday season, but no! Today is the grand opening of the World Celebration area of the park, along with the addition of the fireworks show, Luminous the Symphony of Us. We’re here at EPCOT to check it all out, and we’ve got a surprising line update for you!

Heading to EPCOT soon? Well, there are three new lines you might be waiting in!

First of all, the BIG line is for people who want to take their photo with the brand-new Walt the Dreamer statue at Dreamers Point. The statue now sits directly behind Spaceship Earth looking out over the park.

But if you want your picture with Walt, it looks like you’ll be waiting a while! When we stopped by this morning, the queue for a photo was LONG. So long, in fact, that the wait was estimated between 45 and 50 minutes!

But that’s not the only new line. With the opening of the World Celebration gardens, two character meet and greets moved to the area. In the quadrant of the gardens nearest Journey of Water — Inspired by Moana, you can meet Daisy Duck.

She was a popular attraction this morning, but her wait wasn’t too long.

Across the way, you’ll also be able to find Pluto in the quadrant of the gardens nearest to Creations Shop. He’s in his winter apparel!

So if you’re heading to World Celebration today and hoping to experience the new offerings, beware that you might be waiting in three different lines! Everything else is mostly a walkthrough and explore-at-your-own-pace.
