Everyone WIll Forget This Hack for Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind in EPCOT

Since it opened in EPCOT in 2022, Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind has remained a POPULAR attraction.

Since then, riders have been able to grab their spot on the ride by utilizing Disney’s Virtual Queue System or by purchasing an Individual Lightning Lane. Currently, Genie+ is still not available for the ride. Grabbing a Virtual Queue return time can be tricky, and often, the Lightning Lanes sell just as fast. Many folks have a hard time being able to experience the attraction! However, we have a tip that can increase your chances of getting on the ride. It isn’t foolproof by any means, but I personally have always been able to snag a Virtual Queue return time by doing this. Let’s talk about it!

Ideally, if you’re hoping to snag a Virtual Queue, you’d try to grab it at 7AM as soon as slots open for the day. To do this, you’d need a valid park pass reservation for EPCOT. If you miss your chance to join at this point, you can try again when another Virtual Queue opens at 1PM. The only catch is that you have to be IN the park to book this.

So, what if you want to park hop to EPCOT and want to ride at night? Well, it gets tricky because park hopping starts at 2PM — an hour after the Virtual Queue opens. Many folks don’t even attempt to grab this Virtual Queue because they assume it’ll be like the one in the mornings and sell out in minutes.

Well, you can technically enter the park 13 minutes early most of the time, so around 1:47. After you’re in, you can try to snag the VQ. I’ve always been able to do this, but I know so many other folks who have not been as lucky. It really depends on park attendance and crowds for the day! Regardless, it’s worth a shot.

And hey, if you still can’t grab a VQ, you can always try to buy a Lightning Lane if you haven’t already used your allotted two for the day.
