Planning a Disney World vacation can be stressful, but we’ve got lots of resources to help you out.

You can check out our pages for Disney World restaurants, hotels, and rides to find the best option for your trip. And don’t forget to read our ultimate guide to Genie+. But one other thing you should consider is which rides and attractions will be CLOSED during your next vacation. Here’s a complete list of the temporary closures in Disney World from November 20th through the 26th.

Magic Kingdom Closures

Walt Disney World Railroad

Although the Walt Disney World Railroad is still closed and Disney hasn’t announced a reopening date yet, we’ve seen some very promising signs that it could return soon.

The train!

Disney released a video showing the trains being tested, and last week we spotted the train parked at the Main Street train station! We’re still waiting on the official reopening date, but it’s looking good that Disney will announce that soon.

Tomorrowland Light & Power Co.

There’s a lot of construction going on in Tomorrowland, with most of it focused on the upcoming TRON: Lightcycle Run roller coaster. But a nearby gift shop is also getting some attention.

Tomorrowland Light & Power

The gift shop at the end of Space Mountain (Tomorrowland Light & Power Co.) is being refurbished right now. We’ve spotted Cast Members working on both the interior and exterior of this shop. Disney hasn’t announced yet when it’ll reopen, so in the meantime, guests are being directed to exit Space Mountain a different way.

Enchanted Tales with Belle

Over in Fantasyland, Enchanted Tales with Belle is still closed as well. This is where guests could previously help Belle tell the story of Beauty and the Beast.

Although you can sometimes still find Belle greeting guests close to this attraction, Disney hasn’t announced when it’ll reopen fully.

Pete’s Silly Sideshow

Another character spot that’s closed in Magic Kingdom is Pete’s Silly Sideshow. This was where you could meet Dasiy, Minnie, Donald, and Goofy, all dressed in their circus performer outfits.

Pete’s Silly Sideshow

Disney previously said that this spot would reopen sometime “in the coming months,” and that announcement was made a few months ago. We’ll be watching for more updates!

Meet Ariel at Her Grotto

The last closure for Magic Kingdom this week is Ariel’s Grotto. This is where you could meet Ariel from The Little Mermaid.

Ariel Meet-and-greet

Disney hasn’t announced when this meet-and-greet will return, but the nearby attraction Under the Sea — Journey of the Little Mermaid is still open.

Disney’s Hollywood Studios Closures

Voyage of the Little Mermaid

Over in Disney’s Hollywood Studios, another Little Mermaid attraction is also closed. The Voyage of the Little Mermaid stage show has been closed for a long time.

Disney hasn’t announced when this show will return.

EPCOT Closures

Cool Wash

The Cool Wash snack kiosk near Test Track has been through a few changes over the years, and now it’s going through another transformation. We previously saw a new sign over the stand that said “Refreshment Station.”

A closer look

Could that mean that it’ll reopen soon with a new menu? We’ll have to wait and see, because Disney hasn’t made any announcements about it yet.

The American Adventure Pavilion

Over in EPCOT’s World Showcase, the American Adventure show is currently closed.

The show is closed for now.

Disney hasn’t announced when this show will reopen, but it disappears from the refurbishment calendar on December 17th, 2022. It could reopen on that date, but we’ve seen some attractions be removed and then reappear on the calendar, so we’ll have to wait and see.

Disney Water Park Refurbishments

Disney’s Typhoon Lagoon

Disney World’s Blizzard Beach Water Park reopened on November 13th, and right before that, Disney’s World’s OTHER water park — Typhoon Lagoon — closed for its own set of refurbishments.
