PHOTOS: The Disney Holiday Special Is Filming in Magic Kingdom Today!

Ever wonder why random shrubs and blockades pop up in Magic Kingdom?

Usually this is a sign of construction but around this time of year, the shrubs go up around Cinderella Castle and we know what that means — holiday special filming! That’s what we spotted on our visit to Magic Kingdom today.

We noticed these shrubs up around Cinderella Castle and the hub, but today there were signs out that Wonderful World of Disney: Magical Holiday Celebration is filming.

While we were looking around we saw Derek and Juliane Hough from Dancing With the Stars were there to film! Here’s another look at the setup in the park right now.

This didn’t cause any major traffic flow issues in the parks, but it could interrupt that iconic Cinderella Castle photo, so keep that in mind. But you might be able to spot a celebrity or two!

The holiday special is set to air on November 27th from 8PM-10PM EST.
