The Festival of Fantasy Parade is BACK in Magic Kingdom, and soon there will be a way for you to get an exclusive parade view!

If you’ve purchased Genie+ in Disney World, you’re probably familiar with how Lightning Lanes allow you to skip the lines and get a much shorter wait for the attraction of your choice. But what if you could use it for a parade view? And not only that — there will soon be a new way to meet both Mickey and Minnie faster, too!
As of March 11th, 2022, there will be a Genie+ Lightning Lane available for the Festival of Fantasy Parade! Back in December, a Lightning Lane was available for Mickey’s Once Upon a Christmastime Parade, so this isn’t the first time a parade gets special Genie+ access.

Genie+ costs $15 per person per day in Disney World, and you get access to the Lightning Lanes of over 40 attractions. For the Festival of Fantasy parade, reserving a Lightning Lane will let you enter an optimal parade viewing area, which we expect will likely be in the same place as Mickey’s Once Upon a Christmastime Parade’s Genie+ location. You’ll want to check the My Disney Experience app for more information regarding where that location will be.

And that’s not all! A new Lightning Lane will also be available at the See Disney Stars at Red Carpet Dreams in Disney’s Hollywood Studios on March 11th!

Red Carpet Dreams is where you can meet glamourous Minnie and Sorcerer Mickey, and while character meet-and-greets are still modified at this time, we recently learned that traditional meet-and-greets (when you can hug characters!) will be returning “soon.”

Whether you want an awesome spot for the parade or to speed up your Mickey and Minnie meet-and-greet, you’ll have those options through Genie+ on March 11th! Keep reading AllEars for more Disney World news!
