NEWS: Another Part of EPCOT's Transformation Will Debut SOON!

EPCOT is in the middle of a massive park-wide transformation right now!

EPCOT’s entrance area is one of the major updates part of the transformation.

If you’ve been recently, you’ll notice the many construction walls around the park as Future World gets a major overhaul. And recently, the park has added a new restaurant, a revamped gift shop, and moved Club Cool to a new location. But now, it looks like there’s a major step in the transformation coming later this week!

According to Disney, EPCOT will officially be transformed into four themed lands on October 1st. While the four “neighborhoods” had been announced previously, a date had not yet been revealed for them to premiere.

World Showcase will remain as one of the neighborhoods, but the area that is currently Future World will split into three distinct areas: World Discovery, World Celebration, and World Nature.

World Discovery is the section of the park that’s currently home to Test Track and Mission: SPACE, plus the new Space 220 restaurant. It will soon add Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind as well.

World Celebration is the middle section of Future World where Spaceship Earth stands and most of the park’s construction is currently taking place. Here you’ll also find Club Cool, the Creations Shop, and the future addition of Dreamers Point.

And finally, World Nature is taking over the home of The Seas, the Imagination Pavilion, and The Land Pavilion. Here, you’ll also be able to experience Journey of Water, Inspired by Moana.
