NEWS! Disneyland Hotel Will “Open at a Later Date”

Disneyland Resort has officially announced their proposed reopening dates!

Currently, Disney is looking to reopen Downtown Disney on July 9th, Disney California Adventure and Disneyland on July 17th, and Disney’s Grand Californian Hotel and Disney’s Paradise Pier Hotel on July 23rd. Maybe you’ve already noticed that there’s one notable absence on that list.

Disneyland Hotel is not listed among the planned spots of reopening. On Disneyland’s official website, we found the following statement:

“The Disneyland Hotel will open at a later date. Plans to support physical distancing as well as increased cleaning measures, along with a number of other health and safety protocols, will be implemented as part of the phased reopening of our hotels and the Disney Vacation Club.”

It sounds like a combination of keeping crowds to a minimum to support physical distancing, as well as additional safety protocols, were part of the decision to keep Disneyland Hotel closed for the time being.
