What Do Jim Henson and Halloween Horror Nights Have in Common? More Than You Think!

Stop everything! We already knew Halloween Horror Nights was going to be great with all the incredible announcements so far, but this latest one has totally blown our minds.

Universal Orlando just announced that a Five Nights at Freddy’s Haunted House would be coming to the event this year, but that’s not all — the iconic Jim Henson’s Creature Shop is helping with the house!

When fans walk through the haunted house, they’ll see iconic locations from the video game and film, such as the corridors, security room, and showroom. During their entire visit, they’ll be stalked by “full-scale replicas of Freddy Fazbear, Chica, Bonnie, Foxy, and Mr. Cupcake.”

The best part? Jim Henson’s Creature Shop is working with Universal to create the life-size costumes for the haunted house! They also worked to create the animatronics and costumes for the 2023 film, so they’re bound to look pretty terrifying and close to the “real deal.”

We cannot WAIT to see what these creations will look like, but we know they’ll terrify us for sure! Can you imagine just how many scare actors will be in those outfits, or partial outfits, for the haunted house? We’re getting chills just thinking about it!
