We’ve back at EPCOT checking out the first day of the Flower and Garden Festival! But, before we could even get to all the delicious food booths and fancy topiaries, we noticed something new right when we entered the park!

The EPCOT entrance has been getting some major updates recently including a new entrance fountain, some new bushes, and even there’s even a new Leave A Legacy display before you enter! And, now there’s another new feature.
The flag poles that we initially saw pop up in the entrance area now have flags! And, these aren’t ordinary flags — the 12 flagpoles feature flags with six original EPCOT icons.

The icons featured on the flags are inspired by the original designs of the park and represent different aspects of EPCOT. They also clashed the old designs with a new vibrant color palette that is inspired by the new EPCOT neighborhoods that are in development!

Stick around late enough into the evening and see the flower beds that the flagpoles are in come to life with color and create an outer rim to the reimagined entrance area.

These flags and lighting are some of the last touches to the new entrance area and it sure is exciting to see it all coming together! Stay tuned for more Disney news and updates!
