5 Bathrooms I’ll Never Use Again in Disney’s Hollywood Studios

While Walt Disney World might be the “Most Magical Place on Earth”, that doesn’t mean that guests visiting don’t have to partake in the usual human needs like eating, sleeping, and yes, going to the bathroom. However, not every bathroom at the resort is created equal.

Bathrooms in Toy Story Land

When it comes to Disney’s Hollywood Studios in particular, there are certain bathrooms that are best to… avoid if at all possible. I polled our AllEars teams to find out which ones they steer clear of when visiting the park.

Bathrooms Near the Entrance

Where else to start but the entrance to Hollywood Studios? While it may be tempting to try and jump into the restrooms just off to the side of the entrance when entering or exiting the park, the issue is that a lot of guests have the same idea. That leads to incredibly busy bathrooms pretty much for the entirety of the day.

Hollywood Studios Crowds

And busy bathrooms usually mean dirtier bathrooms. It’s only natural — it’s hard for custodians to keep up when the stalls are constantly occupied.

Bathrooms Near Walt Disney Presents / The Toy Story Land Entrance

Moving into the park, we have these restrooms near the old Animation Courtyard, close to the Walt Disney Presents theater and Toy Story Land entrance. The big issue with these bathrooms is that, to our eye, there’s a strange ratio difference where the amount of stalls dwarfs the amount of the sinks, leading to an issue of crowds building up around the sinks and long waits between using the bathroom and washing one’s hands. Which, um, no thanks.

Toy Story Land Bathrooms

Things don’t improve too much once you get into Toy Story Land, though this is more because of crowds and size. These restrooms aren’t really large enough to accommodate the number of guests entering this mega-popular land, leading to an overcrowded experience.

Baseline Tap House / Star Tours Bathrooms

On the other side of the former Pixar Place, there are these bathrooms near Baseline and Star Tours, outside the former Muppet Courtyard/future Monstropolis. By our observation, these bathrooms are not only absurdly crowded, they’re also pretty dirty and — to be blunt — smelly by Disney standards.

Galaxy’s Edge Bathrooms Near the Milk Stand

Moving into Galaxy’s Edge, there are these heavily themed bathrooms… ahem, refreshers… at the back of the land, near the Milk Stand. The issue here pretty much depends on how far you like your theming to go. These facilities use trough sinks, darkened lighting, and strangely positioned mirrors, all of which fit the Star Wars aesthetic. However, it might not work as well for some as a functioning bathroom

Finally, we have the Gonzo Royal Flush Bathrooms.

Why don’t we use the Gonzo Royal Flush Bathrooms anymore?

BECAUSE THEY NO LONGER EXIST!
