4 Bathrooms I’ll Never Use Again in EPCOT

EPCOT is one of my favorite parks to explore, with its mix of futuristic attractions, incredible food, and cultural adventures around World Showcase. But there are still some areas I will avoid!

Between dashing to ride Soarin’, grabbing a margarita in Mexico, or hopping on Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind, it’s a park where you’re constantly on the move. From working as a reporter on our team, I spent a LOT of time at EPCOT, so I know a thing or two about where to avoid. We know that bathroom breaks are inevitable. But here’s the truth: not all EPCOT bathrooms are created equal, and there are a few I’ll never use again.

Tucked off to the side of the United Kingdom pavilion, these restrooms are almost always buzzing with activity. Because the UK is a popular spot for grabbing fish and chips, grabbing a pint, or just wandering the charming shops, these bathrooms see a lot of foot traffic. If you’re hoping for a quick in-and-out stop, you’ll likely find yourself waiting in line here.

Located right in the heart of World Showcase, the American pavilion restrooms are some of the most crowded in all of EPCOT. With so many people stopping for shows, concerts, and snacks, these bathrooms stay busy from morning to night. Instead, I recommend heading to the Morocco pavilion nearby — it’s usually much quieter, and you’ll thank yourself for walking the extra steps.

Connections Café is one of EPCOT’s busiest quick-service spots, so the bathrooms inside are heavily used. On top of that, they’re the closest option for guests stumbling off Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind, a ride notorious for leaving people a little queasy. That combination means these restrooms aren’t always the most pleasant stop. Unless I’m in a rush between rides, I’ll pass.

The downstairs bathrooms inside The Land pavilion can see a lot of crowds. Between Soarin’, Living with the Land, and Sunshine Seasons, this entire area is constantly packed. These bathrooms feel like a traffic jam, no matter what time of day you stop by. If you need a break, it’s better to head upstairs or make a pit stop before coming into the pavilion, or head to the ones across the walkway outside.

Overall, these bathrooms aren’t bad. They tend to see a lot of foot traffic, and with so many pavilions, there are quieter places to go. However, let’s discuss my favorite ones and why you should consider seeking them out!

Journey of Water Bathroom

The bathrooms that are tucked around Journey into Imagination with Figment on the back side of the building are so quiet because hardly anyone knows they exist. There is also a single-stall restroom along the Journey of Water, Inspired by Moana path, right after you walk through the magical waterfall. This one is spacious and secluded. Finally, if the Odyssey building is open for a festival, there are bathrooms located inside the building; these will give you a nice break from the heat.
