Test Track closed in EPCOT back in June 2024 for some big changes! The attraction is getting a major overhaul, including a new storyline, new vehicles, and a new overall look.

Disney announced that the attraction is set to reopen in late summer 2025; however, when will we get more of the tea about what to expect with this refurbishment?
We know a little about what to expect when the ride reopens, but we expect to get more sneak peeks to build up the excitement! And since the attraction is set to reopen this summer, we are starting to wonder when we will learn more. So far, we know that Disney will still be collaborating with Chevrolet to push innovation forward with the Test Track refurbishment.

The attraction will celebrate “today’s innovation while highlighting the past, present, and future.” The queue will have six distinct exhibits to celebrate the vehicles and the people behind the vehicles. There will also be brand-new show scenes to showcase technological advances.

The new scenes focus on “onboard technology, customization, and personalization.” Riders will also enjoy a journey through the scenic outdoors to “celebrate the joys of taking in the world around us and spending time with family and friends.”

We also know that the attraction will be getting a new exterior, which will be reminiscent of the original pavilion design. However, while Disney has released some information about the refurbishment, we still have many questions. Plus, we still only have two pieces of concept art.

Disney has been providing us more information about other experiences that will open soon, including the new villains show in Disney’s Hollywood Studios and the new nighttime parade in Magic Kingdom. However, Test Track is missing from the recent announcements.

Disney recently released new details about the villains show, Disney Villains: Unfairly Ever After. We got more details about the storyline and a look at more of the villains that will be joining the show.

We also got a look behind the scenes at Disney Starlight: Dream the Night Away, the new nighttime parade at Magic Kingdom. Disney released new concept art for one of the floats, and we also got a sneak peek at the costume design.

While we are excited to learn more about Disney Villains: Unfairly Ever After and Disney Starlight: Dream the Night Away, we are still eagerly awaiting more news about the Test Track refurbishment.

Of course, we will let you know when we hear more updates about Test Track. In the meantime, stay tuned to AllEars for all your Disney World news!
