A NEW Monsters, Inc. Land is coming to Disney’s Hollywood Studios, and Disney just released some more information about it!

While we are super excited about every detail the new land will have to offer, we finally know when the Muppets will be saying goodbye to this area for good!
This new Monsters, Inc. Land will be replacing the Muppets Courtyard area of Disney’s Hollywood Studios. It was previously announced that this new land will feature the first suspended coaster ever in a Disney park that will take you for a ride on the doors.

We have also analyzed every detail we could find in the concept art released by Disney, but now we have some information about when we can expect this area to start officially changing! If you’re wanting to experience the Muppets Courtyard one last time, you need to head to the land before June 8th!

This area will be closing in phases, beginning with Mama Melrose’s Ristorante Italiano on May 11th, 2025. The Italian table service restaurant will be closing its doors with the last day to dine on May 10th, 2025.

Later in June, Muppet*Vision 3D and PizzeRizzo will follow suit and close their doors. According to Disney, the last day to watch Muppet*Vision 3D or grab your puffy pizza at the Italian quick service location will be on June 7th.

We are so sad to see the muppets say goodbye to their courtyard, and we are expecting construction walls to be up on June 8th, 2025, near the entrance of the courtyard. While we are mourning this loss, the Muppets won’t be gone forever! They will be taking up residence in Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster as we say goodbye to Aerosmith.

We still don’t know when Aerosmith will be heading off to their final concert or when the Muppets will be moving in. Stay tuned to AllEars for all of your Disney World news!
