Okay Disney, We Have Some SERIOUS Questions About One EPCOT Festival Booth

EPCOT festivals are some of our favorite parts of Disney World.

EPCOT Food & Wine Festival

EPCOT celebrates the holidays, the arts, flowers and gardens, and food and wine in general. You can roam around the world in a day to try new foods and drinks sold at booths around the park. It’s a great way to spend a day on your trip!

During these festivals, new food booths are showcased. Many are introduced at the beginning of the festival while others are opened later on in the middle of the festival’s run time.

Rarely do the booths stay open after the festival or see them being used for multiple festivals. However, we noticed something on the EPCOT map recently that has us questioning the existence of one booth.

Swirled Showcase was recently added to the Food and Wine Festival booths to commemorate the 100th Anniversary. It serves up tasty ice cream treats.

On a recent trip to EPCOT, we grabbed a brand new map and it caught our eye that this festival booth happened to be listed as a dining location. The odd thing about it is that NONE of the other festival booths were listed.

We had recently learned that Swirled Showcase and the three other 100th anniversary food booths would be sticking around for EPCOT’s next festival, the Festival of the Holidays. But it still seems odd that they would list a festival booth on the map but none of the others. This makes us wonder, is Swirled Showcase going to stay in EPCOT as a permanent ice cream and treats spot?

When we asked a Guest Relations Cast Member and the booth Cast Members about the map addition, but they didn’t know anything about this potential update. However, they said it is entirely possible. The booth is located in a permanent structure, so we wouldn’t be surprised!
