Time is precious in the parks, and with so much to see and do you’ve probably looked up all the tips on how to best maximize the hours in the day on your trip. We’ve brought you countless tips and guides to using Disney Genie+ and Individual Lightning Lanes to bypass the standby lines — but did you know there’s another way to skip the regular queue at some Disney World attractions? Enter the Single Rider Line — which has only been available at four rides throughout the parks, until now!

Disney World’s Single Rider Line is designed for, well, single riders who are either flying solo on this particular attraction or don’t mind being split up from their group. Essentially, Disney World Cast Members will assign single riders to fill in all the space on designated rides where there is availability.

Millennium Falcon: Smugglers Run Single Rider Line

Previously, only four rides had single rider lines — Expedition Everest in Animal Kingdom, Test Track at EPCOT, plus Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster and Millennium Falcon: Smuggler’s Run in Hollywood Studios. But now, it looks like that has changed!

Test Track has single rider!

The newest attraction to open up a single rider line is Soarin’ Around the World at EPCOT! According to a Cast Member we talked to, the single rider line is currently in the testing phase and isn’t open all the time as of now.

In fact, when we headed over to take photos the new line wasn’t operational. It’s also important to note that this might cause the regular standby line to be a bit longer than normal as Cast Members work on implementing the new system.

The new line is currently in the testing process.

The Cast Member we spoke with didn’t share exactly when testing for the Soarin’ single rider line would be taking place throughout the day, but we’ll be sure to update you if we learn more — so stay tuned!
