PHOTOS: Disney Closes EPCOT Starbucks Location Ahead of Connections Cafe Opening

Disney World has been undergoing quite a few changes recently.

Spaceship Earth

TRON: Lightcycle Run is being built in Magic Kingdom, Expedition Everest just reopened in Animal Kingdom, and of course — EPCOT is going through a huge transformation. Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind is preparing to open, and over in World Celebration, Connections Cafe is set to open soon as the new Starbucks location for the park. And now, it looks like EPCOT’s previous Starbucks location has officially shut its doors.

Traveler’s Cafe had been serving as EPCOT’s official Starbucks location ever since the construction on the park’s transformation began.

Traveler’s Cafe

Once we learned that Connections Cafe would be taking over the honor of brewing up delicious coffees and baking sweet treats for the popular chain, we knew it was only a matter of time before Traveler’s Cafe closed for good — and it looks like today is that day.

Traveler’s Cafe is officially closed.

Hopefully, this means that Connections Cafe will be opening soon as right now there is no Starbucks location open in EPCOT! You can still get your caffeine fix throughout the park at any Joffrey’s location.

Connections Cafe will be the new Starbucks location in EPCOT

  1. Just a silly decision to close it before the other one opens. It would be beneficial if both were open at the same time anyways as Sbux is always busy.
