The holidays are already starting to arrive in Disney World and now we’re learning more about what the EPCOT Festival of the Holidays will look like this year!

Festival of the Holidays

We’ve already gotten a look at ALL of the food booths, what treats will be part of this year’s Cookie Stroll, and learned more about the returning Candlelight Processional (and dining packages!). And, now Disney has shared more details about all the entertainment you’ll find in EPCOT this holiday season!

Holiday Entertainment

Throughout the World Showcase in EPCOT, there will be a LOT of exciting holiday entertainment to check out! Once again, you’ll be able to watch a Las Posadas celebration at the Mexico pavilion, the Canadian Holiday Voyageurs in the Canada pavilion, and a Chinese Lion Dance in the China pavilion.

Plus, there will be plenty of holiday storytellers, representatives from different countries who talk about the holiday traditions of their homes. These include Sigrid and the tricky Barn Santa in Norway…

Holiday Cookie Stroll

If you’re looking for a sweeter journey around World Showcase, you can choose to participate in the Holiday Cookie Stroll which entails purchasing 5 different cookies (which are listed in the Festival of the Holidays Guide) from the Festival of the Holidays booths.

If you collect a stamp for each cookie in your Festival Passport, you get rewarded with a special 50th-anniversary cookie in the shape of an ornament!

Olaf’s Holiday Tradition Expedition Scavenger Hunt

Just like Remy’s Ratatouille Hide and Squeak Scavenger Hunt during the 2021 EPCOT Food and Wine Festival, Olaf’s Holiday Tradition Expedition Scavenger Hunt is returning for the 2021 holiday season!

For $9.99, you can purchase a map and stickers and search for all the holiday traditions Olaf has collected (and lost) around the World Showcase. When you complete your map, you can bring it to Disney Traders, Creations Shop, or World Traveler to exchange for a special prize.

Living with the Land

In the new World Nature neighborhood of EPCOT, Living with the Land will receive a special holiday makeover once again, complete with holiday lights and decor.

Similar to previous years, storytellers will be located around the World Showcase to share tales of holiday legends and lore throughout the day. There will be a Hanukkah storyteller, as well as storytellers in France, Japan, Italy, Norway, and the United Kingdom pavilions.

Norway’s Storyteller

Disney said to check back for more Storyteller details in the future, so we’ll be looking out for any exciting new holiday additions.
