PHOTOS: Check Out the Construction Progress on EPCOT’s New Moana-Inspired Attraction

There are a lot of construction projects going on in EPCOT as Disney continues to make progress on the EPCOT Transformation.

We are quickly approaching the debut of the new attraction, Remy’s Ratatouille Adventure, and the new dining location, La Creperie De Paris, but there are still more projects slated for the park. We’ve been watching as the new Creations Shop is added to Future World and now there’s another attraction that is kicking off in the area!

Way back in December we got a peek at the area that the new Moana: Journey of Water attraction would be going in Future World West, and now it looks like Disney is starting to build there!

Thanks to an aerial shot of EPCOT’s construction from the Twitter account @bioreconstruct, we can see that a new concrete structure has been added to the area!

Disney hasn’t shared when the attraction is set to open just yet, but there have been indications that it will debut in the park sometime in 2021. And, once complete, guests will be able to walk through a trail where they’ll meet and play with magical, living water.

Of course, we’ll continue to keep an eye out for more construction progress and updates on when the attraction will open in EPCOT. So, be sure to stay tuned to AllEars for the latest!
