New MagicBands perfect for Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party‘s debut and Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge opening have popped up for Disney World Resort guests in My Disney Experience.

The enhanced MagicBand program with discounts on premium MagicBands had a rocky start earlier this year. Demand was so high for the deeply discounted MagicBand that the program was “glitchy” at first.
But now the program has been running better lately, and we spotted some new MagicBands in the mix today! Guests with a Disney World resort hotel reservation can pre-order and personalize one MagicBand each before their arrival. Guests can select from complimentary (mainly solid color) MagicBands to discounted MagicBands.
If you are coming to Disney World during Halloween check out the Mickey Halloween MagicBand. It’s not-so-scary! The pre-order price is $15.00, approximately a 50 percent discount off the $29.99 regular retail price.

And whether you support the First Order or the Resistance we think everyone can agree the Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge MagicBand is a must-have for all Star Wars fans!
Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party starts in the Magic Kingdom on August 16 and Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge opens in Hollywood Studios on August 29.

The magic band upgrade is not a very magical experience
I purchased both of these this morning (the moment they came out)! I later received an email from Disney stating that the online price for the Galaxy’s Edge magic band is an error and that I would only be charged $15 for it once it shipped.
