If there’s one thing we know about Disney World fans, it’s that we love the magic—but we’re definitely not shy about calling out when that magic feels like it’s fading a bit.

From transportation struggles to missing perks, Disney-goers have thoughts. To that point, we thought we’d reach out to you and get your takes, and honestly, you brought up some valid points.
We reached out to our followers on Facebook and Instagram to ask: “What are some glaring problems that Disney World needs to fix ASAP?” We had quite a few people leave their opinions in the comments!

Now, let’s go over some of your top responses!
First up, Jeanne hit us with a triple whammy here, and we felt every single word. “Magical Express. Purchases delivered to your WDW resort gift shop. Extra hour in the park for ALL RESORT guests, not just the deluxe resorts.”

The Magical Express has been gone for a while now and a lot of us still aren’t over it. On top of that, Jeanne mentioned the old perk where your in-park purchases could be sent straight to your resort gift shop — another convenience that quietly vanished. And the cherry on top? The extended evening hours that are only for deluxe resort guests. It’s giving “exclusive,” and not in the most magical way.
This one came from Jennifer, and yep — this has been a hot topic for a while. “They need refillable drink cups in the parks like Universal has.”

Universal’s got their refillable Freestyle cups down to a science. Disney? Not so much. While you can buy a refillable mug at your resort, it doesn’t work in the parks, which feels like a huge missed opportunity. Especially in that Florida heat. Let us hydrate without breaking the bank, please.
This one from Mackenzie is serious, and it’s something a lot of fans are watching closely. “The criteria for Disability Access Service or accommodations for disabled people who no longer meet the DAS criteria.”

Disney recently made changes to its Disability Access Service program, and not everyone is on board. Some folks who previously qualified are now being told they don’t meet the new standards. The process has become more rigid and, for many, more confusing.
With this one, Kristina is speaking for a lot of returning guests here. “Re-use the refillable cups on different trips at a discounted price versus brand new ones each time.”

It feels wasteful that you can’t bring your refillable resort mug back on future trips for a discount. We like Kristina’s idea to let people reuse them and just pay for a refill plan. Simple, sustainable, and still makes Disney money. Everybody wins.
Stacey kept it short and to the point — and we couldn’t agree more. “More SHADED rest areas spread between sections.”

If you’ve ever melted while waiting for a parade or stood in a seemingly endless line for a snack cart in the sun, you get it. The lack of shaded areas is a real issue, especially in the summer months. More shaded rest spots = more comfort = happier guests = a no-brainer.
Next, Sam had a whole vision here, and honestly? We’re listening. “Walt and his team created the PeopleMover. Why not actually institute some sort of human transportation system like the PeopleMover to get people around areas in the park. If it can clear at least 20% of foot traffic, it would be a huge benefit. Epcot and DSW would really benefit from this. It benefits: Families with small children, The elderly, Anyone with feet.”

Navigating Disney World can be exhausting, especially with kids, older adults, or anyone who’s just trying to survive on tired feet. Sam pointed out how a real in-park transportation system—like an expanded PeopleMover concept—could seriously ease the crowding and make the experience way less stressful.
This next one from Erin hit a nerve here. “Guest satisfaction, so many have complained of how stressful not only planning but just being there is.”

Planning a Disney World trip used to be part of the fun. But now it’s starting to feel like a part-time job. Between all the reservations, limited availability, and fluctuating prices, the stress starts before you even step foot in the park. Luckily, we are here to help with that!
Last up, Scott brought up something that’s honestly overlooked way too often. “Maybe this exists and I just don’t know, but I’d be open to a way to walk back to your car for Magic Kingdom rather than having to wait in the insanely long lines for the monorail or ferry at the end of the night. Getting to and from your car is by far the worst part of Magic Kingdom.”

Leaving Magic Kingdom at the end of the night can feel like a theme park boss battle. Everyone’s tired, and then there’s the long haul back to your car — which requires waiting in massive lines for the monorail or ferry. Scott’s idea to open up a walking path is pretty genius. Sometimes you just want to take matters (and your sore feet) into your own hands.

What are some glaring problems that Disney World needs to fix ASAP? Tell us all about it down in the comments!
I am with you on the DAS pass what a nightmare it is now. It’s humiliating & degrading. It left my husband in tears, even though they finally approved him after 40 minutes. The cast members even took me off recording to say how much they hate it & gave me an e mail to contact, which resulted in a form letter back ( so nothing really)
Also more than once I have not purchased something because I have to carry it around. Disney is leaving money on the table by canceling pkg delivery to your hotel
I agree on being able to reuse mugs. Small thing that helps sustainability. On that note, I still have a couple of early mugs from All-Star Movies that were billed as having lifetime refills. I wonder if they’ll honor them?
Bring back some
Of the smaller tours like the tea experience at the Rose and Crown or the MK food tour. Didn’t mind spending a little extra for these unique and interesting experiences.
Also, bring back more of the live entertainers. It was great to happen upon an interaction or skit while walking through the park. The park experience then becomes more than rushing from ride to ride.
There is a walking path from MK to the Parking Lot. It was completed in recent years and connects MK to Grand Floridian, Polynesian, and TTC.
I don’t mean to sound old fashioned but, WDW used to have an 800 number to make a reservation. Say my 86 year old Father wanted to surprise his daughter( me) with a well deserved trip, he doesn’t know what number to call. I remember making reservations with some girlfriends a while ago. We would call the 800 number and speak to a lovely person who would enjoy helping us. At the end of the call ” Have a Disney Day!” made us feel valued. It’s not a huge thing but, an 800 number for older folks or those people who liked speaking to a friendly voice.
So technically there is a walking path to grand floridian, which you could then walk to Polynesian, and then to the TTC parking lot. It’s a long walk but with tge lagoon, its your best bet
You can walk back to your car. It’s our favorite thing to do to leave MK, take the path around the lake, past the Grand Floridian, through the Polynesian to the MK parking lot. Peaceful and you’re not in a sea of people after a long tiring day.
You can walk to your car. Take the path to Grand Floridian and keep going to the Poly and then TTC. It might not be for everyone at the end of a long day, but the option is there.
Stop taking away attractions , there’s plenty of room too add new ones and leave rivers of America alone
