We decided to book with the Fantasmic package and glad we did. We had the filet Mignon and it was fantastic! We also ordered the chocolate cake (which we needed a to go box) and the cheesecake and both were delicious. The grapefruit cake martini was good but couldn't drink it all
Pros:
delicious food and great atmosphereCons:
a little noisyReviewed by Anonymous Review Date: 02/16/2026

Um, we liked the food a lot better years ago to be honest. They changed the menu and we don't personally really care for it much anymore. The ambience is beautiful with the recreations of the signed works from yesteryear. The servers were wonderful, as for the great most post at Disney. Would be great if they improved on their menu.
Pros:
AmbienceCons:
Food seems to be lacking.Reviewed by mkymouse4ever Review Date: 10/15/2025

We have always been a big fan of here. and usually visit it more then once, a trip. But, we are sadly taking this totally off our list. Had a terrible experience here. From our CM waiter to the food. I ordered the pork chop and Ive cooked and seen many pork chops before but, I would not of recognized this as one?? It was round with a ring of fat about 1 1/2 inches around the entire circle. Trying to cut through that was a workout. Thinking this must be something special for the interesting prestation I was wrong the inside was a serious red to pink. Never been served a not cooked piece of pork before? The only thing worse was watching our waiter talk up another waitress at the lil bar for the next half hour > so asking for a refire or something else was off the table. By time he came we just wanted to leave. We did talk to the manager > but I told her I wasn't asking for anything just they need to start cooking the pork properly or people are going to get sick. By far the total worse experience ever at WDW resturants.
Pros:
The AC was niceCons:

I went here back in September 2024, and it was okay. However, the price for the amount of food you get is not great. I got the chorizo-stuffed Chicken Gnocchi, and there were literally only five gnocchis on the plate, and the Chicken only had a little bit of Chorizo in it. I got a drink as well which was good. The theming was cool and I liked all the decor
Pros:
Theming is neat Drinks are niceCons:

LOVED this place! We went here for my birthday dinner after a full day in the park. They seated us right away once we got the text that we had checked in. We had a really good table (there were only 2 of us) and had plenty of room to eat and spread out, which was nice. Remy (yes, that was his name...fun!!) was our server and he was absolutely fantastic. Checked on us quite often. I had the Filet Mignon and it was wonderful. My wife had the Shepard's Pie and she said it was amazing. We got a dessert and Remy brought out two little flutes of champagne to celebrate my birthday. Just a wonderful experience overall. Atmosphere is great and neat to see all the artistic renderings of the actors/actresses on the wall. I had a manhattan (two actually...hey, it was my birthday) and they were fantastic. Overall, great experience and great dinner.....will definitely be back.
Pros:
Great food, great drinks, great atmosphere. Servers were very friendly and attentive.Cons:
a little pricey; but I felt it was worth it for special occasions.Reviewed by nlg0517 Review Date: 12/07/2024

Let be honest, you’re not coming to the HBD because of its reasonable price point. You coming for the good food in an enjoyable atmosphere without a bunch of kids making noise. The menu has changed since our last visit. They still have the Cobb salad & margarita flight so I was happy. My husband had the salad with chicken. My daughter went with the crab & avocado appetizer- it was also very good. The included bread was hot and tasty. Our waiter was one of the few this trip who provided excellent service. If you’re having a meal in DHS this is the place to go!

As a family of 6 with some picky eaters and a vegetarian, the Brown Derby has managed to be a hit with all family members and is one that we reserve every time we go to Hollywood Studios! Whenever we have friends or other family in tow, we take them here! The servers have always been friendly and helpful.
Pros:
Delicious food! Great drinks! Classy, fun atmosphere. After dinner coffees are a must!Cons:

I’ve been here twice now, in 2002 and now in 2024, and oh my, it did not disappoint! We just happened to get a walk up spot, and I’m so happy we did. We got two appetizers, escargot and burrata. Amazing! My son got the chicken. Husband got the steak. I got the salmon. All were perfect! I also had the signature grapefruit martini and my son got a Shirley Temple. Yes, my husband gasped a little when he saw the bill, but then he proclaimed, “Worth it!”
