Terrible service. Relegated to a small back room with no theming. Orders had items missing Cobb salad is gross and that’s their signature. Snarky hostess that actually thinks she’s working in Hollywood. Our only bad experience of a week long trip.

Pros:

The main dining area is nice

Cons:

-Terrible service -not responsive to diners, even those with reservations -just ok food at best -No value for price

Had not been to Brown Derby for years, but wanted to have a good salad. Ate lunch there on Nov.15th. We ordered two appetizer Cobb Salads and also shared the Wagu burger with wife. We did not order any drinks other than water and our bill still came to $50 with tip.

I am confident that I could create my own extremely large salad with the very same ingredients at any grocery store salad bar for less than half the cost and it would be every bit as good if not better than the Cobb Salad at Brown Derby. While the hamburger was very good the bottom of the bun was so soggy it would not hold together. The six steak potato wedges were cold and tasteless.

It will be many many years before I return. I cannot imagine any universe where this restaurant would ever be worth two table service meals on the dining plan. There is no comparison between this restaurant and Narcoosee's or Yachtmans Steakhouse.

Gave the restaurant a two rating instead of a one because the service was good.

Pros:

Nice atmosphere, excellent service

Cons:

High priced food that was below mediocre

The restaurant is beautiful inside. That is the only nice thing I can say, the menu is extremely limited. Our waiter was terrible it took us almost 2 1/2 to eat dinner because he kept disappearing. People that came in after us had their food & were leaving before our entrees came out. I had the cobb salad, which was ok, but I have had better at other places, I also had the pork chop the first two bites were good & then the rest was raw inside ( not medium , raw ) & inedible. When I left 3/4 of my pork chop on the plate the waiter never asked if there was an issue just took the plate & disappeared again. My son had the filet, which he said was good & my husband had the lamb chops. We all agreed it was not worth two dining points. We all said we had a better meal at Coral Reef in Epcot

Pros:

ambiance

Cons:

food, wait staff, price, limited menu

The atmosphere at this restaurant is quite nice, BUT if you do not like expensive cold food do not go here. We used to frequent this restaurant in the past years, but after being here last week we will not go back. I felt really bad, such a dissapointment.

Waited 10 mins before server arrived to bring water. Once food arrived salad was soggy, fish cold and server was the worst. Asked for the check had to wait 10 mins to bring check and 15 to process the credit card. This used to be my favorite but has left zero opportunity to eturn due tonthe horrific service. Dont waste your miney eating here!

We had a dinner reservation at Hollywood Brown Derby at 6:30 on Thanksgiving evening. We finally were seated and had menus in our hands at 8:35! When our entrees arrived, the restaurant was in the process of closing and tables were being set up for the following day. The food was not awful, but certainly not worth 2 Dining Plan credits or a 2 hour wait, which meant that we also missed Fantasmic. The manager on duty was unsympathetic, did not offer any compensation for missing Fantasmic (we had FastPasses, as did the many people around us who were also being told that seating was running 2 hours behind). I had the cioppino, which was just plain weird. It was lukewarm and what I suspect was meant to be broth was congealed at the bottom of the bowl. Only the grapefruit cake was worth eating. We won't be going back.

Pros:

Not many

Cons:

Extremely slow, food not up to usual standards

Wouldn’t waste my time going there again

Pros:

Atmosphere delightful

Cons:

Soup was served lukewarm, croutons for soup never arrived, lunch entree was also cold, when serving dessert the waitress left lunch dishes on the table and when coffee finally arrive( since the table was for 7 people) she left utensils at the far corner of the table.

I’m watching the video on YouTube saying it’s the 3rd best restaurant in Hollywood Studios. Omg, wife and I are shocked. The food was decent, but the service was horrible twice in row and 2 strikes you’re out we never went back. We both were in the service industry, it’s where we met so we are super sympathetic to shift change, delays are no big deal to us, etc. But they were unfriendly and didn’t get our order right, let our drinks sit empty and I swear we are not complicated customers and smiled and said mistakes were fine, etc. made us question if we should have dressed nicer than golf shorts and tank tops. It was like they did Paper Rock Scissors to see who had to help us. Lol and we simply walked up and asked if we could eat there. The hostess said yes and we sat down. No clue what why it was like that if everyone else had a great experience. We also tipped 25% since we get how hard waiting tables is. (only add that to show we were anything but adversarial or rude and tried to be understanding to the end)

Pros:

The concept seems cool. Grew up seeing it in old TV shows

Cons:

Service was baaaad
