runDisney is the host of several yearly races that take place around Disney World, Disneyland, and even virtually — right from wherever you are! We’ve seen the lineup of the 2025-2026 race season, but there’s an important update that Disneyland runners might want to know about.
Heads up, runners! Disney has shared an update advising that due to upcoming construction at Disneyland, runDisney races at Disneyland will be going on a hiatus in 2026 following the conclusion of the 2026 Disneyland Half Marathon Weekend.
The update said that runDisney will continue to offer races at Disney World and virtually during the hiatus from Disneyland.
You can check out the runDisney events you need to know about that are still taking place throughout 2025 and 2026 below!
Disney World
- 2025 Disney Wine & Dine Half Marathon Weekend: October 23rd-26th (registration begins on February 4th, 2025 for club runDisney members and February 11th, 2025 for general registration)
- 2026 Walt Disney World Marathon Weekend: January 7th-11th, 2026 (registration begins on March 4th, 2025 for club runDisney members and March 11th, 2025 for general registration)
- 2026 Disney Princess Half Marathon Weekend: February 26th-March 2nd, 2026 (registration begins on June 17th, 2025 for club runDisney members and June 24th, 2025 for general registration)
- 2026 runDisney Springtime Surprise Weekend: April 16th-19th, 2026 (registration begins on July 22nd, 2025 for club runDisney members and July 29th, 2025 for general registration)
Disneyland
- 2025 Disneyland Halloween Half Marathon Weekend: September 4th-7th, 2025
- 2026 Disneyland Half Marathon Weekend: January 29th-February 1st, 2026 (registration begins on April 22nd, 2025 for club runDisney members and April 29th, 2025 for general registration)
