Are you on your honeymoon? Or celebrating an anniversary? Or maybe just on a super-awesome couple’s trip to the Most Magical Place on Earth?

Why not book a unique activity to take your romantic getaway to the next level? Here are five great ideas for a fun Disney Date Night!
1. Taste Some New Wines

Every Wednesday, a special wine tasting is offered at Jiko, the signature restaurant at the Animal Kingdom Lodge. Jiko has one of the most expansive wine lists at Walt Disney World, comprising of South African varietals exclusively. During your tasting you’ll sample a trio of wines, hand-picked by Jiko’s sommeliers, as well as artisanal cheeses selected to compliment each glass.
After the tasting, we recommend exploring the Lodge. There are gorgeous savanna views of real animals such as giraffes, zebras, and antelope.
To book your reservation, call 407-WDW-DINE. Please note there is a dress code, which excludes pool-wear, t-shirts, and ripped clothing.
2. Get Your Game On!

There’s nothing like some friendly competition on date night, right? Try checking out one of Disney World’s two miniature golf locations – Winter Summerland or Fantasia Gardens. You can enjoy some uniquely Disney courses and some leisurely recreation. And to really kick it up a notch, why not bet on the outcome? Loser buys drinks at your favorite lounge? Game. On.
3. Giddy up!

Take a trip back in time and enjoy an intimate carriage ride at Fort Wilderness Resort and Campground or Port Orleans Riverside. A 25-minute ride is $55, and is a fun way to explore your resort, or check out a new one!
In the wintertime, they even have horse-drawn sleigh rides at Fort Wilderness! Talk about a truly unique, yet romantic, date night!
Advanced reservations are recommended, and can be made up to 180 days in advance by calling 407-WDW-PLAY.
4. See a Show
Did you know the House of Blues at Disney Springs offers live entertainment most nights? Check out the calendar before you arrive, and see a show together! Maybe you’ll find a new favorite act, or jam out to a classic.
Personally, I love the cover bands they bring to House of Blues. They’ve had everyone from a ’90s music band to a Michael Jackson impersonator to Journey and Aerosmith tribute bands! These shows can be an awesome way to dance and sing along to some of your favorites.
5. Board the Highway in the Sky!
Climb aboard the famous Disney monorail and do a Monorail Crawl. This is a great way to explore three beautiful resorts – Disney’s Contemporary Resort, Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort, and Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort and Spa – while trying delicious drinks and scrumptious food.
Simply hop aboard the Resort Monorail, and stop at each resort. Once there, head to your favorite lounge and try a new cocktail and bite.
We did a Monorail Crawl during Christmas last year, and you can read our full review here. This is a wonderful time of year for this date night, as all the resorts are decorated for the holidays.
