This value resort is great bang for your buck if you do not plan on being in the hotel much and will be in the parks for most of your stay. It is a very efficient room with zero wasted space. Extremely clean and would recommend to any family/group looking to visit Disney on a budget.

Pros:

Access to the skyliner is the best part of the resort. Very easy to get to and from Epcot and Hollywood Studios with it. I only want to stay at resorts with skyliner access from now on.

Cons:

The resort is quite large so if you do not have preferred room you may be walking a long way to the main lobby and food court.

The lobby was very neat, the decades theming was awesome. The food court is a plus that you don’t get with deluxe resorts. Good for Disney first timers and or someone who wants to experience the Disney “bubble” on a budget.

Pros:

Rainbow cheesecake, skyliner transportation, lots of pool options, theming.

Cons:

Smaller rooms, noisy/ thin walls, you can spend similar money on dvc points and get a deluxe room.

We recently stayed for 5 nights at PopCentury. I would definitely recommend this resort. The pools were nice and the food court was open till 11 for late night snacks. I know the housekeeping at Disney has been reduced, but our room was not cleaned at all while we were there and we had to request replacement of towels.. feel like if you were anywhere but Disney and paying these prices you would be complaining about lack of service! Also, felt the platform bed was a bit hard, but mattress seemed a bit worn, so that was probably the issue. Loved being on Skyliner line!!

Pros:

Skyliner access, interesting theming, proximity to central services, nice rooms

Cons:

Housekeeping changes, same menu every day in food court( a daily special would offer variety!) wish they had ice cream available..not just ice cream bars

Cute themes! Nice pools! Ok food. SKyliner is awesome!

Pros:

SKyliner to Epcot and HS unless it\\'s storming then there are buses. Cheaper than many other Disney resorts.

Cons:

In general, Disney doing room checks is a hassle but that\\'s with any hotel. Can only get to Epcot and HS by Skyliner.

I LOVE this hotel and have stayed many times. The rooms are basic, but perfect if you are spending lots of time in the parks and just need a nice place to sleep! The skyliner addition makes this resort even better! I do wish they would add more DISNEY into the decades (TV shows, movies, parks); I think that would make it more updated and fresh. The food is nothing to write home about, but being on the sklyliner route gives you access to all those hotels as well!

Pros:

Skyliner access, cost can't be beat, good for couples or solo trips

Cons:

Theming is literally outdated- Could be better

What a delightful surprise! We are DVC owners at Poly and usually stay at Deluxe or Deluxe Villa properties. Our other go to is French Quarter if we are popping inf or a weekend. We decided to try out Pop Century and were quite pleasantly shocked. We did get a preferred room so we overlooked the Hippy Dippy Pool and found the convenience incredible. Although the food court wasn't fancy, we found the ease of grabbing a quick snack after the parks terrific. We did not rope drop and I understand that line gets crazy in the morning. However an hour or so after park opening, there was no line and we got in within minutes. The rooms were clean and looked recently renovated, and I really liked the shower without the tub. To us there was only one single issue and that was how loud it was. Not so much from the pools but from every room around us. I do not know if the new laminate flooring played a part but we were awakened every morning by 6am by screaming and yelling children in the rooms on both sides of us. We could hear the people above using the bathroom- not just the flush and the children running around sounded like a heard of elephants. I do get this is a highly themed value hotel which caters to families, but good grief! Even with this inconvenience, we still enjoyed our stay a lot and will return in the future for s weekend get away.

Pros:

Convenience to skyliner. Clean, updated and great theming. Good food court for basics- pizza and the like

Cons:

Loud, Loud, Loud. Skyliner is very busy at rope drop.

This was one of the most colorful and fun resorts I’ve stayed at. For being a value resort, the beds and pillows were very comfy and the TV was newer than the one at the deluxe resort I stayed at over at Universal. The Murphy bed was a nice touch and two adults fit comfortably in the room. It would likely be a little cramped with more than three people and luggage but it’s cheap enough that it would be possible to get two adjoining rooms for a larger party for the price of a moderate resort. I can see that the theming may be a bit “kid-ish” to some but if you’ve still got some child-like whimsy, this resort is a lot of fun. My personal favorite touch was the facts by year around the main resort walkway as I love history and trivia. Having the skyliner was great and even with just the buses to two of the theme parks, they were much more easy to navigate than when I stayed at Caribbean Beach. Didn’t swim on our stay but the pool looked nice, if a bit small, but there were always activities for kids both in and out of the water most of the day. If you love a bit of recent history and corresponding artefacts, you’ll really get a kick out of this resort.

Pros:

Skyliner, reasonably priced, fun theming, buses aren’t on a confusing loop

Cons:

Smaller rooms, smaller pool, only a couple of food options within the resort.

We love Pop Century and it is our go to for our trips to Disney. We have been 4 times in 18 months and stay here each time. If you stay a little farther out from the main building and pools it's quiet. Food court is pretty good, typical fast food type options, but that's ok with us after long days at the park. We love ordering and then eating in the room. The staff have always been phenomenal, even when we had an issue with our latest stay. They were amazing and helpful. Clean rooms and being on the skyliner is a big pro for us too!

Pros:

Clean rooms, quiet if you stay away from main area, skyliner, friendly staff

Cons:

Large resort, so decent amount of walking, but not like some other resorts I've read about.
