I have yet to step foot onto Main Street, and not shed tears of joy. Seeing the castle in the distance opens the floodgates, and all of the feels take over. If you aren’t completely entranced, you’ll take in the sights and sounds around you; Mickey & Co. waving from the Train Station, and CM’s smiling to greet you. You may also pick up on the delicious aromas from the Confectionary and Bakery as you make your way to the castle courtyard. Pure magic.

Main Street also provides a hub for all things Guest related. Whether you need to obtain a DAS pass, get your caffeine fix, or add to your Mickey & Minnie Ear Headband collection, this is the place to go. You will also find quick service and sit down dining options throughout Main Street. (Tony’s, Casey’s, The Plaza, Crystal Palace, etc.).

During the evening shows, such as “Happily Ever After”, Main Street is the place to be. It’s essentially the beating heart of Magic Kingdom Park. It’s a wonderful place to begin, and end your day at MK.

Pros:

Multiple dining options and retail spots, Easy to navigate, Great view of the castle.

Cons:

Often very crowded.

This street is magical. It doesn’t matter what time of day (or night). It always has great holiday decorations. It’s the perfect place to get you excited for your day. The street performers are the best. The Dapper Dan’s are just wonderful! And is anything more iconic that walking right down the middle of Main Street, USA towards Cinderella Castle?

Pros:

Atmosphere, stores, performers

Cons:

Can get very crowded

Welcome to the Magic Kingdom! Main Street offers a warm welcome as you begin your Disney Day. First thing in the morning, you are greeted by waving Castmembers. The smells from the Confectionary are hard to resist as you make your way to Cinderella Castle. You can grab a Starbucks coffee as you make your way into the park, or grab a hot dog at Casey’s for lunch or dinner. The shopping on Main Street is great. Unfortunately, without any attractions I believe it is under appreciated as a pass-through vs. a destination. I recommend it giving it a bit more time, as it can be a great place to soak in the Disney ambiance and appreciate an idealized time gone by.

Pros:

Ambiance

Cons:

Crowds can bottleneck, no attractions

You have no choice but to walk through Main Street USA and this is something I will never, ever complain about! The views, the shops, the food, the feels... you will find it all here! I love that Main Street USA is the first thing to welcome you (beside the cast members at the front) into the Magic Kingdom. This is truly what makes you feel like you are transported into another world. This is where you can literally feel the magic at work. Not to mention Main Street USA holds the greatest view of Cinderella Castle. Sigh... it's just incredible. Take your time exploring Main Street, you won't regret it!

Pros:

Everything, literally everything.

Cons:

None, literally none.

OMG who doesn't love walking down the middle of main street USA. I cry every time I do it. I could spend hours just looking at the windows and people watching.

Pros:

It's based on Walt's hometown. Cast members are amazing there and you just fall in love seeing Cinderella Castle from main street.

Cons:

Not one thing.

Main Street USA is the most iconic land in all of Disney World. Nothing can beat walking into MK and seeing the Cinderella Castle at the end of a charming and exciting row of nostalgia. Even though there technically aren't any attractions, it's still the most exciting land imo. It's incredibly beautiful at night and breathtaking during the holidays.

Pros:

Classic, castle views, firework views, Holiday decorations

Cons:

No attractions

There's nothing better than walking down the middle of Mainstreet, USA. Turning the corner and seeing the castle never gets old; its breathtaking every time. The atmosphere is my favorite part about this land. The entertainment like the Dapper Dans, the character calvacades and watching the castle projections and fireworks from here really make it the most magical place on earth.

Pros:

The atmosphere and entertainment make it a magical place. There are many great places to eat like Casey's corner, Crystal Palace and Plaza Ice Cream Parlor

Cons:

It gets crowded especially during parades/cavalcades and fireworks times.
