EVERYTHING You Need to Know About Disney World’s Ultimate Pin Trading Event

Walt Disney’s inspiration for Disneyland (and Disney World) was his daughters. And with that same spirit in mind, Disney has celebrated families ever since.

From family vacations at Disney Resorts to the stories of families (born into and chosen) in Disney, Marvel, and Star Wars films — Disney celebrates the bond between family members each and every day. And Disney’s new Pin Celebration highlights the bonds that make a family! We already had dates for the event, but Disney just released more info!

World Showcase in EPCOT will host the 2022 Pin Celebration — ONE Family! The event will take place August 12th-13th, with on-site pre-registration occurring on August 11th at Disney’s Coronado Springs Resort Convention Center. Registration for the Disney ONE Family Pin Celebration Event will begin at 1PM EST on June 7th!

This is the perfect opportunity to gather with fellow pin-lovers, and partake in special pin trading experiences! Attendees will choose one of the following event packages:

• Traditions Package – $175 per Guest (register here)
• ‘Ohana Package – $275 per Guest (register here)

The attendees with the ‘Ohana Package will receive additional commemorative gifts, dedicated lines, and more!

Attendees can also grab some special pins, like the Family Game Night Fab 5 Puzzle Set for $44.99…

…the Wish You Were Here! Wakanda Post Card Pin for $21.99…

…the Connected As One Bar ($14.99) that allows you to attach family sets like…

…the Incredibles Family Set! This set costs $34.99.

So set an alarm for June 7th to register for this fun event! And if you can’t make the event, no worries! You can still trade with Cast Members and fellow pin traders around the parks!

If you’re looking for other new things to do around Disney World soon, Disney’s Hollywood Studios just released a bunch of new snacks and two menu overhauls! This includes new menu items at 50’s Prime Time Cafe and Sci-Fi Dine-In and new drinks in Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge.

If you plan to go to this event in EPCOT, then you’ll want to catch up on the latest Genie+ change at the park! Recently, Remy’s Ratatouille Adventure was added to Genie+ meaning it is no longer a pay-per-ride attraction (aka “fancy ride”). That means you can grab a Lightning Lane for the ride if you buy Genie+ for EPCOT!
