Disney and Marvel — many fans say it’s a match made in heaven.
Whether you love or hate seeing Marvel in Disney Parks, it’s here to stay — and that’s never been more evident than in the last few years. Disney California Adventure is now home to the Avengers Campus, and even in Disney World, guests are preparing for an intergalactic jam session on EPCOT’s newest thrill ride. Now that there are a few Disney Marvel attractions to choose from in Disney World and Disneyland, it got us wondering which one is the best of them all? So…
We’re bringing you the AllEars ranking of every Disney Marvel attraction — let’s see how they stack up!
3. Web Slingers: A Spider-Man Adventure
When Disney California Adventure’s Avengers Campus opened in June 2021, Web Slingers opened right along with it. Guests marvel (ha, ha) as they’re taken along a 3D adventure with Spider-Man himself. What’s arguably the coolest part of this attraction is the new ride technology that allows riders to sling webs of their own at the flick of a wrist.
We love this attraction — it’s fun, innovative, and family-friendly. The theming is excellent, and feeling like you’ve got Spidey powers of your own is something that not many (or basically any) other attraction can give you.
Although we have nothing but love for this attraction, it’s lacking in overall oomph — we can’t wait to ride it again, but we’d probably choose one of the other Marvel attractions if we had to pick just one.

2. Guardians of the Galaxy — Mission: Breakout!
Disney is home to not one, but two Guardians of the Galaxy rides now, but first we’re going to talk about the original: Mission Breakout. This attraction opened in 2017, long before the Avengers Campus in Disney California Adventure, and is a drop ride (it’s housed in what once was the Tower of Terror!).
The music and storyline are what make this attraction great, and although the drops might not be for everyone, it’s still number two on our list. Guests are shown one of six different ride profiles, each with a different hit song a la Star-Lord’s Awesome Mix. And of course, you get all of the jokes and sarcasm that come along with any sort of Guardians adventure.
There is a height requirement for Mission Breakout at 40 inches, so little little ones won’t be able to enjoy this one just yet! Though thrilling, at the end of the day this attraction doesn’t quite stack up to the newest Disney Marvel attraction…
Guardians of the Galaxy – Mission: BREAKOUT!
1. Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind
What can we say about Cosmic Rewind? Also based on the Marvel hit Guardians of the Galaxy, Cosmic Rewind is what Space Mountain wishes it could be. It features groundbreaking ride vehicles that swivel and rotate so you’re always facing the story.
Cosmic Rewind is also a reverse launch coaster — which is exactly what it sounds like — but there aren’t any inversions or corkscrews. Even still, it’s such a fast, smooth, and exciting ride, complete with the same sarcasm and jokes featured in Mission: Breakout! Guests will hear one of six different hit songs during their ride, making Cosmic Rewind an overall boogie of a good time.
Not to mention, the queue for this attraction is pretty darn cool, too — with a gallery full of Xandarian culture, and even a planetarium-style room featuring a supercomputer! Classic EPCOT fans will also appreciate numerous Easter eggs and references to past attractions. Cosmic Rewind does have a 42″ height requirement, so it isn’t fun for the whole family, but it is definitely fun.
Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind
All rankings aside, we really do love all three of these rides. They’re fun, innovative, and overall a good time. Each attraction has its own strengths, but all three make us want to ride again and again — and we certainly plan to!
