While walking around the parks is usually enough activity for us (gotta get those 12,000 steps!), the ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex plays host to a number of sports-related events throughout the year. Runners just finished competing in the Princess Half Marathon, but there’s more on the way.
For you basketball fans out there, Disney has announced that the Jr. NBA Global Championship will be returning for the third time to Disney World this summer!
Thirty-two teams from around the world will qualify to face off at ESPN Wide World of Sports from August 11th to August 16th. These will be the best of the best 13 and 14-year old boys and girls basketball players in the world playing for a chance at the title.
