5 Important Rules to Know Before Visiting EPCOT’s Germany Pavilion in 2026

Before you go to the Germany Pavilion in EPCOT, you need to hear these rules!

Germany Pavilion

Germany is one of EPCOT’s most colorful and lively pavilions, with unique eats and fun culture. So if you’re stopping by during your visit, we’re here to share some important tips.

One Snack Is a Must-Have, and One Is a Skip

When visiting the Germany Pavilion, one of the best, most underrated treats is the Pretzel Bread Pudding at Sommerfest. This is $4.79, and it’s coated in pretzel pieces, vanilla sauce, and caramel sauce for a delicious treat. We LOVE it!

But if you’re going to skip a snack in the Germany Pavilion, we recommend that you don’t get the Jumbo Pretzel. These are usually dry and bland without much excitement or enough salt.

Thankfully, there are several good treats in Germany to make up for it.

Visit the Hidden Bar!

Inside Weinkeller, you’ll find a less popular hidden bar, where you can do tastings, buy a glass or bottle of wine, or get a shot of one of their fun liqueurs like the Mozart Chocolate Liqueur.

It’s typically less busy in here and usually has a shorter line than the other spots to grab alcohol in the Germany Pavilion, and they often have unique options. Plus, it’s indoors…and in the summer we’ll take all the AC we can get!

Make Sure You Get Your Popcorn Fresh

Of course, one of the iconic treats in the Germany Pavilion is the caramel popcorn from Karamell-Kuche. It’s sweet, salty, and crunchy, and naturally, it’s best when eaten fresh.

Caramel Popcorn!

Inside Karamell-Kuche, you can get caramel popcorn two ways. You can order a fresh bag at the counter from the bakery case, and those batches are made in-house each day. Or, you can get a prepackaged bag from one of the shelves. We highly recommend going with the former to get the best, most delicious batch!

Don’t Forget Mobile Order!

Speaking of Karamell-Kuche, many folks don’t realize that this snack shop offers Mobile Order. With the My Disney Experience app, you can order your treats in advance and avoid waiting in the (occasionally long) line that often accumulates at this shop.

When you use Mobile Order, you’ll be able to get fresh treats directly from the bakery case, so no worries about getting anything that’s not as good. This method has saved us SO MUCH time and hassle in the past, and if you have an Annual Pass, your discount will be automatically applied when you order.

Play the Interactive Game to Explore

Last but not least, I’m going to recommend a seriously underrated game. The DuckTales World Showcase Adventure is available through the Play Disney Parks app, and it’s so. much. fun!

Like the Kim Possible and Phineas & Ferb-themed World Showcase adventures of the past, this one is offered in several pavilions. In Germany, you can play the game to explore the gift shops, solve mysteries, and even see some fun interactive features (like Donald hidden in a cuckoo clock!). It’s a great activity for kids and adults alike, and it’s even better that it’s FREE.

Abiding by these “rules” in the Germany Pavilion will ensure you have a great time during your visit!
