We just went on a WILD Adventure…on the Disney Adventure, the newest ship in the Disney Cruise Line fleet. We spent a lot of time just exploring the ship, checking out all its themed areas, visiting its restaurants, and checking out its attractions.

Well, we also spent some downtime visiting some of the bars on board the ship, and we’re going to tell you all about them! So come with us to have a few drinks on the Disney Adventure!
We’re starting at the Wayfinder Bar, which is a Moana-themed bar with views of the sea, just how Moana would like it. This bar offers both cocktails and mocktails.

We ordered the Beyond The Reef Sangria for $12, made with Rendez-Vous Sauvignon Blanc, Malibu Rum, Pineapple, Passion Fruit, Lime, and Agave. This sangria surprised us in a good way. It’s heavy on the rum, so it tastes more like a beach beverage than a traditional sangria. It’s also sweet, but you can’t really taste the wine, which was the only problem we had with it. If you’re looking for a traditional sangria, this isn’t it, but it still might please your taste buds.

We also got the Islander Fizz for $9. It’s made with Lyre’s London Dry, Mandarin, Lemon, Green Tea, and Soda. This was a lovely, well-balanced mocktail. The dominant flavor came from the green tea, so it was sort of like an iced tea, but also like a mocktail. The Lyre’s really have that quality of making a drink taste alcoholic, even when it isn’t. It’s very refreshing and perfect for sitting by the pool, which works because this bar IS close to a pool. In fact, it may be one of our favorite things we drank on the ship.

We also visited the Market Bar, which is a little alfresco cafe next to Pixar Market Restaurant. This is another spot with both cocktails and mocktails on the menu.

We ordered the Singapore Sunset for $9, made with Malibu Rum, Peach, Midori, Pineapple, and Cranberry. This drink confused us. If you drink it through the straw, the main flavor you get is the rum, although you get some of the sweet coconut notes coming through. However, if you drink it from the top, you get the peach flavor. We only really tasted the pineapple when we got to the bottom of the drink. Was it good? Well, yes, we think. But we don’t think we’d say it’s a “must get” on the ship.

Okay, who’s read for Boba? We always are, so we also made our way to Bewitching Boba and Brews, which is a bar inspired by The Little Mermaid villain, Ursula.

You’ll even see Ursula, Flotsam, and Jetsam all lit up in neon lights here.

We got the Mermaid’s Berry Kiss for $7.75. It’s Strawberry, Blueberry, Raspberry, and Jasmine Tea. As expected, it was so fresh and fruity, and the flavors didn’t taste artificial. You also got a nice earthy flavor with the jasmine tea that balanced out the sweet fruit flavors. It was very refreshing, but note that this is NOT like a smoothie. The flavors of this drink are milder.

We also grabbed the Mystic Tide Matcha for $7.75 with Milk and Brown Sugar Boba. The earthy matcha flavor was predominant, but we’ll warn you that this is not a sweetened matcha. The milk helped cut through that grassiness, though. The boba was bouncy and chewy, and it also added an additional hint of sweetness if you got it in a sip. You’ll have to appreciate unsweetened matcha to really like this, though. Otherwise, it’s probably going to taste bitter to you.

So that’s it for some of the bars we visited on the Disney Adventure. We hope you continue to follow AllEars for all our adventures, so check back with us again soon for more.
