Yesterday evening was an odd one at the Magic Kingdom. During the early evening hours, the park seemingly experienced an outage that led to a vast majority of its rides going down for an extended period of time.

The outage affected a large majority of the park’s rides and attractions, including everything in Frontierland and Fantasyland. This also led to longer than usual queues for the few rides that did remain open.
During the early hours of the evening of February 10th, reports began to spread across social media of these closures, with some referring to them as “madness.”

Our own wait times tracking, which uses data from the My Disney Experience App indicated just how bad the situation was as of 8:00 PM.

Truly “madness” indeed.

On top of that, the park was scheduled to host an After Hours event following its scheduled closure time last night. According to all reports, the event went on as scheduled, and by 10:00 PM EST, only Space Mountain, Tiana’s Bayou Adventure, and “it’s a small world” remained closed.

As of press time, the cause of the ride outage remains a mystery, and Disney has offered no official comment. Stay tuned to AllEars for any further updates on this situation.
