A RARE Fireworks Show Is BACK At EPCOT

It’s not really a trip to Disney World without seeing the fireworks. We know it can be hard to stay in the parks that late, but we think it makes a Disney trip just a little more magical.

During some holidays, Disney brings out a special fireworks show, and of course, there’s one for the Fourth of July! So here is everything you need to know about Heartbeat of Freedom in EPCOT.

In EPCOT, the special show will play on July 3rd, 4th, and 5th at 9:15 PM. It’s a five-minute patriotic finale that is shown right after Luminous: The Symphony of Us at 9:00 PM.

Luminous has amazing music!

Once Luminous ends, Heartbeat of Freedom starts with awesome red, white, and blue lasers filling the sky. So patriotic!

Then, the barge in the middle of the water lights up red, white, and blue as the fireworks start, and patriotic lights fill the night sky!

We loved all the red, white, and blue fireworks, however, we thought these magical gold ones were so much fun.

If you want to catch it, we highly recommend going early to get a good spot. Since this special show is only played three days a year, it can get super crowded.

If you won’t be in EPCOT the next few days but you want some patriotic fun, you can also head over to Magic Kingdom to watch “Disney’s Celebrate America! — A Fourth of July Concert in the Sky.”

This is another special fireworks show only shown on July 3rd, 4th, and 5th. The show starts at 9 PM, but unlike in EPCOT you won’t also be able to see the normal park fireworks.

Which means the fan-favorite Happily Ever After fireworks show is not available these nights. We love all of the fun and special offerings that happen in Disney World during the 4th of July!
