These Are the 2 Longest Lines You’ll Wait In at Disney World

It’s no secret that the holidays can be a busy time at Disney World!

Of course, no matter when you visit Disney World, you run the risk of dealing with potentially overwhelming crowds and wait times — but it’s especially true around the holidays. So, to prepare you for what you might be facing if you come to Disney World during Christmas week in 2023, let’s have a look at how it was last year!

First things first, if you are visiting Disney World during the holiday season, you will need to pack some extra patience with you. You might find that some areas have lower crowds than you might expect, but other areas will be VERY busy. Get ready for LONG lines at many of the most popular rides.

That’s a LONG line!

Speaking of rides, consider this — for Christmas week 2022, Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance had an average wait of about 130 minutes for the week and Avatar Flight of Passage had an average wait time of about 170 minutes (almost 3 hours) for the week!

WOW that’s a lot of people!

It may be worth considering purchasing Genie+ for your party to avoid some of those incredibly long waits, and to buy the Individual Lightning Lane option for those rides that offer it. (Just keep in mind that the prices for these services will be quite expensive during these in-demand times.)

Ultimately, you’ll need to consider your ride priorities on days like Christmas Eve and Christmas in Disney World and figure out if Genie+ is worth it for you and your party.
